From the author who brought you A Thousand Boy Kisses comes the new emotional novel, A Wish For Us.

A story of music. A story of healing. A story of love conquering all.

Nineteen-year- old Cromwell Dean is the rising star of electronic dance music. Thousands of
people adore him. But no one knows him. No one sees the color of his heart.
Until the girl in the purple dress. She sees through the walls he has built to the empty darkness
within.

When Cromwell leaves behind the gray skies of England to study music in the South Carolina
heat, the last thing he expects is to see her again. And he certainly doesn't expect that she'll
stay in his head like a song on repeat.

Bonnie Farraday lives for music. She lets every note into her heart, and she doesn't understand
how someone as talented as Cromwell can avoid doing the same. He's hiding from his past, and
she knows it. She tries to stay away from him, but something keeps calling her back.
Bonnie is the burst of color in Cromwell's darkness. He's the beat that makes her heart skip.
But when a shadow falls over Bonnie, it's up to Cromwell to be her light, in the only way he
knows how. He must help her find the lost song in her fragile heart. He must keep her strong
with a symphony only he can compose.

A symphony of hope.
A symphony of love.
A symphony of them.

Cromwell Dean is a famous DJ. One night, while he is working in Brighton, a girl catches his eye. She is dressed in purple. She looks different from the rest. And she is brutally honest with him. Saying that his music is rubbish. Obviously, Cromwell is not that happy and ignores her. But three months later, in South Carolina, they meet again. Bonnie is the sister of Crownwell's roommate. And they are in some clases together. Soon we find out that Cromwell is a prodigy in classical music. But nobody knows why, one day he disappeared. And his music with him. I loved the story, the characters. All of them. They are complicated and developed throughout the story in incredible and shocking ways. And although some of them look not very important for the plot, they become the centre of a hurricane which will change everything forever. I ADORE Tilly Cole. I really do. But while I was reading some parts of this book I could only think: Seriously, Tillie? Again? Because my heart was already broken by her when I read A Thousand Boy Kisses. And it was difficult to move on from that story. This will be the same. A beautiful, soul changing story that I will not forget for a long, long time.

5+ Colorful Stars!! A Wish for Us is one of those books that has captured a special place in my heart. It is beautifully written and makes you feel so many emotions. From the prologue to last sentence she has you riveted to the page. Cromwell and Bonnie’s story is a unique tale of love and life, it is heartfelt, beautiful and heart-wrenching. Cromwell is a brilliant and gifted musician whose life revolves around music. His world has been turned upside down and refuses to live it to the fullest. Bonnie loves music with all her soul and thrives to be the best at her craft. She also has a secret which is interfering with her passion. She meets Cromwell at time in her life when she needs to find that something to push her further. Both are lost and use music to communicate with the world. Once they find that connection with each other, their journey is an colorful and lyrical adventure. This book makes me remember why I started reading in the first place, it was to discover stories like this. I usually do not tend to veer towards YA, but I think when you read a book like AWFU there really is no category you can but it in, it is just truly an awe-inspiring, emotional and a magical journey. It show us how love can help you conquer life’s hurdle as well as heal and grow from those lessons.

Beautiful. Emotional. Brilliant. Passionate. This was my first read by Tillie Cole and I’m so happy that I picked this one up! From reviews of A Thousand Boy Kisses and that it was mentioned in the synopsis, I knew I was in for an emotionally driven story. However, I was not prepared. It snuck up on me in the best way possible. Make sure you have a box of tissues and some comfort food, maybe even comfort drinks handy before diving into this amazing story! Cromwell and Bonnie meet in a unique way that drew me into what would happen between the two. The descriptions in this story are perfectly written. They add to the story and do not distract from the story at all. The story was original and I loved every second of it. All of my reviews are spoiler free, as will this one. I highly recommend you steer clear of any that may contain spoilers. Go into this bling, not knowing anything other than the synopsis. This story will take you on an emotional roller coaster and throw some curveballs at you as well. If you want a read that will make you feel, think, and watch an epic romance from beginning to end, you NEED to grab this book up now!

Cromwell Dean is a star. A DJ with a career on the rise in Europe. Women to his feet, flattery on all sides. But his life seems to be stuck in limbo where he feels nothing. And that's all he wants. Stay away from any kind of feeling. Until a girl in lilac dress challenges him and bother him with just one sentence. Bonnie Farradaw was born, raised and educated in South Carolina. After a trip and a unexpected meeting at Brighton Beach, everything she expected least happened: the DJ with whom she had a seaside conversation became her twin brother's roommate. Plus, he'll be her partner on a music college project throughout the college year. The connection of both with the music is undeniable and this is what brings them together despite the resistance of Cromwell and his denial. His rare neurological condition is seen by him as a blessing and a curse. He feels everything in a such intense way that he feels like he could tear himself apart. Bonnie is full of life. For her music is the food of the soul. Through music she understands and feels the composer's emotions. Her curiosity keeps her always interested in Cromwell because she wants to know what happened to the prodigy boy of classical music who became DJ. But she also hides her secrets. To see through the pages of this book Cromwell rediscover himself while living with Bonnie it is like watching the sky be taken by a rare and intense rainbow after a turbulent and intense storm. Watch him learn to deal with his frustrations through his passion is unique. One of the most difficult reviews I've ever written. A sensational narrative. A reading full of tenderness. Romantic and at the same time profound. It involves and causes the most diverse reactions and feelings. An explosion of sensations. A unique experience in vivid colors and intense emotions. Able to cherish and destroy your heart.

I have read other Tillie Cole books and each one brings something that I have not read before. None of them are comfortable reads. They are dark and twisted with horror and pain. A WISH FOR US is not a typical Tillie Cole novel. It is a story of truths, hidden pain, rage, despair, understanding, and beauty in discovering redemption and moving on. This is something that has to be read to be experienced, and I don’t say that often. There were times that I really did not like Cromwell. He is arrogant and someone that I didn’t deem as likable. I really wanted to reach into the pages and bring him down several notches. But I kept reading and what I discovered about this amazing young man was a hidden soul of pain and despair. There is a deep rage within him and he coped with that in the only way that he could think of from his short existence. And then entered Bonnie into his life. Bonnie loves music. Her passion and dreams are wrapped around it, and it brings her pain and sadness to see Cromwell throw it away in the fashion that he is. But there are things that Bonnie doesn’t see about Cromwell, only what he shows. And when he starts to invite her into his life, a new world opens up for both of them. Bonnie is a beautiful character. Unfortunately, she sees the surface. But not the underneath. And when the underneath is exposed, an epiphany occurs and her world shifts again. I fell in love with both of these characters. They understand pain and sadness, even as they hide behind the façade that they both have created. They each bring a different prospective into the story and reading the culmination of it was hard, but beautiful. A good story is one that takes the reader along for the emotional roller coaster ride and doesn’t let them go … and that is what A WISH FOR US did to me. I felt the pain and sadness. The despair and the happiness that peppered the pages. I felt it all, and I woke up the next morning with eyes that were swollen from ugly crying, but heart that was happy with way the story ended. I think that readers will be pleasantly surprised by this story. I can say that I didn’t start out liking it, but my opinion started changing and I couldn’t put it down. I had to finish, I had to see what happened. I am so happy I continued! I would definitely recommend this story for readers that like angsty reads and aren’t afraid of a book that is going to bring them pain and make them ugly cry during certain parts. This was a very emotional read foe me, and I guarantee it is going to be the same for you!

" A symphony of hope. A symphony of love. A symphony of them. " I knew I would be in tears reading this book and yes I was in tears. Just like A Thousand Boy Kisses is A Wish for Us my favorite read by Tillie Cole and I can´t choose one winner, I can´t. Cromwell Dean is a 19 year old DJ, a rising star. He´s beyond talented - his calling is unique. But he has issues and demons. He´s new at a college in US and there he meets his soulmate. The one who makes him complete. Bonnie Farraday is twin to Easton. Both attend the same college as Cromwell and they run into each other. Bonnie has her own problems and secrets, but somehow Cromwell mesmerizes her and she can´t get him out of her head. ´til here it´s a nearly typical college story, But A Wish for Us wouldn´t be a Tillie Cole book when there wasn´t a major hurdle and big wrench that karma throws their way. I started reading and I was hooked from the start. I knew reading Cromwell and Bonnie´s story would hurt - and it did. The story gutted me to the core and put me in a roller coaster of emotions. Tille Cole is a outstanding and incredibly talented author and every time she releases a new book I´m giddy to get my hands on it and A Wish for Us is no exception. I can´t express how much I love the excellent writing, the unique story and how easily I connected with the characters. I highly recommend A Wish for Us and wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I’ve always believed in the positive power of music…that its melody and lyrics are restorative…that getting lost in its sounds and its words heal the soul and the heart in unimaginable ways… But, I also understand music’s darker side…the one that allows cries of pain to get lost in the cacophony of noises…the one that forces emotions to swirl out of control…the one that hides the torment of the soul. Music most definitely has the power to heal…the power to soothe…the power to lift up spirits in a way that words alone cannot always accomplish, but music also has the power to undo a person’s carefully constructed life in a way that he can’t come back from because he becomes lost to the array of feelings brought forth and he becomes their prisoner and loses the battle. The dichotomy of music has never been articulated better than in the beliefs of Cromwell Dean and Bonnie Farraday. At the beginning of A Wish For Us, music for Cromwell is tormenting, agonizing, and too emotional; it forces him to open himself completely and feel all that it has to show him, and that’s not something, given his past, that he feels he’s able to endure. For Bonnie, music is EVERYTHING; it’s a bevy of sounds, words, and feelings that are meant to be experienced FULLY, offering one’s mind and heart to where music leads it. That’s not to say that Bonnie doesn’t struggle with keeping her beat…her melody…her song alive when life tries to overpower them, because she does…it’s just that when that happens, knowing that she has someone in her corner…someone who understands music’s intricacies and its limitless possibilities, she’s able to endure…able to reconnect in a way that binds her soul with his and that’s not something that can be destroyed easily given the fact that the songs somehow find a way to play on. Tillie Cole writes Cromwell and Bonnie’s story in such a way that makes it impossible to not feel every single one of the emotions that are felt by the characters throughout the course of the book; there’s nothing about A Wish For Us that feels fabricated…that feels contrived…that feels unoriginal, and it’s because of Cole’s ingenuity when it comes to the construction of her plot line, of her characters, of the drama infused into the story line that weaves the story’s lessons…its beauty…its darkness and its lightness around readers’ hearts and souls, pleading with us to understand its teachings about life, about love, and about music. Cromwell and Bonnie’s story is meant to be more than simply read; it’s meant to be EXPERIENCED; it’s meant to be entered into with an open mind and an open heart, which means that going in blind…not reading reviews…not forming opinions based on other readers’ assessments is the only way that readers can truly visualize and accept all that the story offers, especially when things get difficult for the story’s characters and the possibilities of how everything will be resolved aren’t quite clear. 4.5 Poison Apples

A melodious story that will leave you breathless and craving for more notes, more beats, more tunes. You will beg/plead/cry/weep for the people who climb out of the pages and take residence into your heart. Tillie chose an unexampled topic to explore that I believe I'd never even heard of before. The complexities and travails of genius is very poignantly highlighted. It just stuns you with its painful beauty. Impenetrable heart meets a defective heart and our collective hearts disintegrate.  That's the gist of this heart love shattering story of how musical souls. Their hearts beat to same drums, beats, notes. The boy who can see colours and the girl who can hear emotions  It's like God made them for each other and put them on separate continents. Fate finds a way for them to be together. Cromwell Dean the hottest and most promising young DJ, is God in EDM world and Bonnie is there on his club trying to listen . She finds it lacking and this is where their infamous clash starts. “The best music must be felt. By the creator. By the listener. Every part of it from creation to ear must be wrapped in nothing but feelings.”  “You can’t fight the colors you were born to see.”  No matter how far you run, you can't get away from your talent.....or demons.and they are both playing havoc in Dean Cromwells mind. She feels no connect and labels his work as synthetic and soulless. Naturally Dean is irritated and brushes it off. Next thing you know, fate throws them together in Jefferson. In the same college, in the same class. I don't wanna give anything away. So I'll stop right here. But....BUT, the story will tear your heart out and chop it into pieces. It's devastating & soul razing. You will feel your emotions going through a grinder. A pit was in my stomach the whole time and a lump the size of England, lodged in my throat.  Be prepared to cry....& cry...&  cry......then cry some more. Giant box of Kleenex and skyscraper sized bottle of wine is mandatory.  Dean's talent is unique and unparalleled. Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor spilled out from my hands, every bar burned into my brain. No sheet music was needed. I just followed the colors. Vibrant red. Pale blue. Ochre. Tan brown. Lemon yellow. One after the other. A tapestry in my mind.  So is his prickly personality. I loved this broody genius. The character was so childlike vulnerable, I wanted to hug him hard and save him from his chaos. Bonnie is the quintessential sweetheart, she breaks down barriers and penetrates into ui ur heart effortlessly Easton just steals the show. Massively talented and happy go lucky, even though he hides a lot of pain behind his loud personality.  The story is simply outstanding and Tillie's writing just goes straight to the heart. Very well researched and vivid in description, you'll fall in love and as happens in love, there's a risk of getting your heart trampled. So yes, it does happen. A few sensitive subjects are touvvhed upon and some scenes damn near killed me, I've just about recovered. So go forth and feed your heart in the chipper.
