A Woman's Heart (Lovers in Paradise Series, Book 1) by Gael Morrison

Peter Strickland can't allow non-traditional, new-age Jann Fletcher, who lives on a sail boat in Hawaii, to keep him from acquiring custody of his nephew. Having failed to keep his sister Claire, safe, he vows to do for his sister's baby what he was unable to do for Claire.

Jann has already lost her parents and her best friend Claire. Now she's determined to keep custody of Claire's baby.

So, Jann combats Peter with all the magic she possesses; a magic which can only come from the heart of a woman.

I really loved this book.  The characters were likeable and engaging, the setting was beautiful, and the authors words easily transported me to a magical place.  Highly recommended.

This story centres around the intense nurturing and love of an orphaned infant by two people Jann and Peter, one related to the child, one not. Both have laid claim to the baby. The story takes you on an emotional ride. Gael Morrison has created a story of true love and devotion that is heart warming to read. I loved this book.

My heart broke at the thought of the little baby losing its mother, and I didn’t want to see him lose a second mother also. But the uncle was a hunk and seemed to love the baby as much as the heroine. Good story. Loved the ending.

It was all pretty slow and the heroine was way to insecure. I almost stopped reading but ended up skipping parts.

The hero of this book is a jerk. The heroine, a gutless, wishy washy, oh poor little, I give up, type. The plot predictable and an ending you could have bet money on. Many pharses are extremely over used again again and again. Of course the hero is rich, the heroine poor, the baby sick, the hero saves them all and its happily ever after. YAWN! No surprizes with this one. The editing is good. It is a decent length and all plots are concluded. No cursing, religion, blood guts and gore. There is some mild sex. But even the sex is boring. AD

It was a good read.

This was an ok story. It got kind of annoying after a while with the female character constantly saying over and over again that Peter doesn't love her. It got to be repetitive, and the ending is quite predictable.

Good read. It would have been good to know where Peter Jann and Alex ended up Boston or Hawaii. Also would have been good to know how did they raised him as their kid or their nephew since they talked about having klds together.
