Spend a year in Marietta, Montana with these four linked stories celebrating small-town life and big sky love.
Skye Wolcott didn't have the confidence to so much as smile at Chase Goodwin in high school. Then Chase left Marietta for a career in the big leagues but now he's back to help his kid brother. It's a second chance for both of them, but can Skye convince Chase that Homecoming is more than a game and he's back where he belongs?

When Skye and Chase host a Christmas cocktail party, Liz Flowers bumps into her former brother-in-law, Blake Canon. They haven't seen each other for fifteen years, they're both divorced and alone for the holidays... A kiss under the mistletoe starts a romance, but when family secrets are revealed and their children arrive home early, will they be able to keep the season bright?
The Bachelor's Baby
Meg Canon is in town to clean out her old bedroom for big brother Blake's growing family. She doesn't mean to embroil his new neighbor, Linc Brady, in a Valentine's Day Bachelor Auction--or to win him! Linc can't forget his one night with Meg, but he's a loner by choice. When she tells him she's pregnant, they both wonder if they can make a home here, together, in Marietta.
His Blushing Bride
It's wedding season in Marietta, but Piper Tierney is wrapping up the school year, feeling overlooked. Sebastian Bloom wants to reassure himself his sister Liz isn't rushing fences, marrying a local rancher. He's definitely not looking for a bride, but Piper is cute, funny, and wants to move on from her ex. They agree to a no strings affair, but will they wind up tying the knot?

5 stars I purchased a copy of Hometown Hero (Love in Montana #1; Montana Born Homecoming #3; A Year of Love in Marietta book 1; Firefighters of Montana book 2 Scorch/Vincent ) by Dani Collins and this review was given freely. A misunderstanding and indiscrete comments result in a rocky runion for injured major league pitcher Chase who has returned to Marietta Montana to watch over his brother and in the process reunites with the high school crush he did not pursue, the now highschool secretary, Skye. Such topics as under age drinking, Alocholism, acknowledging gay orientation, vindictive jealousy, and overcoming fears to obtain and maintain a loving relationship are discussed in this steamy second chance at love sports related romance.
Four wonderful love stories set in a small town of Marietta. Each is linked but can be read individually. I previously read each one as it was released. Hometown Hero A cute romance An embarrassing encounter between a small town girl and a big time baseball player brings two unlikely people together. It was fun watching the drama unfold and how they worked it to their advantage. Skye Wolcott Baynard and Chase Goodwin both went to school together but never even had a friendship. Chase is back in town recovering for surgery and helping out at the school in order to spend more time with his younger brother. Skye is the school secretary. After a scandal, they find themselves attracted to each other and agree to spend the time together while he is in town. How will their relationship work when they both realize they want more? Skye is content on living in Marietta Montana and Chase is always on the road with his team. Will they come to a mutual agreement or will they part ways when Chase is called out of town and gets the ok to return to playing ball? Blame the Mistletoe A cute holiday story about two people finding love where they least expected it. Liz Flowers has gotten stuck at her former mother-in-law's house taking care of her dog while the rest of the family goes to Mexico for Christmas. She meets Blake Canon at a Christmas party and they hit it off really well. Little does she know they were once related through her ex-husband. Liz has never been a big fan of Christmas. Will Blake be able to show her the spirit of the holiday? This was a fun book to read and had some laughable moments thrown in. It is a great book to get ready for the upcoming holidays. The Bachelor’s Baby What would one night hurt? Meg Canon could have a little fun while she was back in town to pack her belongings from her old bedroom. The bachelor auction was for a good cause. The men were hot and the planned dates sounded fun. She had her eyes set on Linc Brady when she first got into town and ended up skidding off the road. He was there to pull her out. Linc was new in town. How the heck did he get roped into being one of the town’s bachelors up for bid? Sure it was to help out a little boy. But this was definitely not his style. He considers himself a confirmed bachelor. He supposes he could handle the high class news reporter who bid on him for one night. When the date ends up with them in bed something very unexpected happens. Meg ends up pregnant. How will Linc take the news? This was a fun and quick book. The topic of an unexpected pregnancy is nothing new to romance books. But the story is written well and makes it worth reading. His Blushing Bride A sweet heartfelt romance When Piper Tierney finds out her parents invited another stranger stay at their house, she didn’t like it one bit. Her father had a habit of picking up hitchhikers and bringing them home. This one they met while in South America. Piper was too busy to be entertaining visitors right now. But this stranger turned out to be so much more than she expected. Piper couldn’t take her eyes off him. Sebastian Bloom was in town for his sister’s wedding. He didn’t expect to stay in Marietta for longer than that. He just wanted to meet his future brother-in-law and make sure he is right for his sister. He has seen a lot of bad marriages and wants to make sure his sister is marrying someone nice. Piper and Bastian end up spending a lot of time together and soon the attraction for each other grows
