PLEASE NOTE: This story may contain potential spoilers to anyone who has not finished reading the Harry Potter series. This story has romance. (Duh.) Also, this story is part of my series of Harrry Potter Character xxx Reader Stories, which can be found at 'abide' result one. Enjoy!
You sighed, clutching your Transfiguration textbook close to your chest. Professor McGonagall seemed to hate you. You never interrupted her in class, or hexed anyone in the halls. But deep down, you knew why she disliked you so much. In fact, you knew why everyone hated you.
It had been because of him. Draco Malfoy. You had befriended him in fourth year. He had been so mysterious, and you saught for that in boys. And you found it in him. The two of you spent all your time together, whether talking in the Slytherin common room or chasing ghosts, it was always fun with Draco.
Or, it had been. Ever since sixth year started, you didn't speak. Draco was more reserved and introverted than ever. And you HATED that. Naturally, the last thing youd've expected was for him to cry in the bathroom.
As you turned a corner, you heard an odd sobbing noise coming from the boys' bathroom. It was pitiful and vaguely familiar... Curious, you entered. Bent over the sink, was Draco Malfoy, crying into his sleeve. His wand was drawn. "Relashio," he whimpered, pointing his wand at himself. Tears rolled down his cheeks as cuts appeared on his arm, thick ones oozing with blood. You gasped. Why was he doing this?
"Draco!" You cried out without thinking. "Stop!" It hurt you so much to see him like this. He turned around to face you.
"(YOURNAME)," he murmured, staring into your soft (COLOR) eyes. "I haven't seen you in so long.."
"Why are you doing this to yourself?" You cried, on the verge of tears.
"I wasn't doing anything." Was the stubborn reply.
"I saw you! You were ... commiting self-abuse. Draco, please. Let me help you!" You were desperate now.
"I don't need help. And what if I were to commit suicide? Who would care?!" Draco's eyes narrowed in a way you had seldom seen.
You stepped toward him, and wiped the tears off his cheek with your hand. "I would care," you said simply. "Even if we never speak. Even if you hate yourself, I will never hate you. I wouldn't give up our tine together for anything."
Draco gave a small smile, and tucked a strand if your (COLOR) hair behind your ear. He grasped you gently behind the head, and pulled you close to him in an embrace. It was a strange feeling, hugging your best friend for the first time. But it was no less pleasant. Draco then did something you never would have expected.
He kissed you. Draco brought his mouth so close to yours, and finally, after so long, his lips were entertwined with yours. He was passionate and firm, yet gentle. You recieved his kiss eagerly, with no shame. And, for that one beautiful moment, all was perfect.
After what seemed like an age, you pulled apart. Draco smiled, and said the three most beautiful words imaginable:
"I love you."
You knew then that despute all the evil and all the trouble the world had to offer, the two of you wiuld still remain. And that was a very conforting thought.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hey! If you enjoyed this story, please comment. I love to hear feedback. Thanks for readng! ;)
