A well done biography. Aside from covering the subject's life, it sheds some light on reproductive health in the earlier parts of the 20th century. Lays to rest some right-wing saws about mean, baby-hating doctors who are only trying to make some money of unfortunate and stupid women. Suggested reading for the social justice and women's studies set.
