About the Author

Finally a picture of me and as it happens my wife. We are at our favorite B&B on our Anniversary. L. E. Or Louis is a writer who lives with his wife of 36 years and 26 year old autistic daughter. He lives in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California, where its HOT during the summer, not so bad during the winter, except for the FOG. He and his wife attend a nice conservative, hopeful church and both work. He is a blue collar worker, with a collage education. Louis has written stories most of his life, but only seriously for the last six years. One of his stories was published as an Honorable Mention in the Star Trek anthology Strange New Worlds 10. Another of his stories--a 50 word tale--was published on the onthepremises.com web site--mini-contest 18--as a Honorable Mention. The last story listed. And He now has an Indie novel published "Above My Pay GradeX2" and a Steampunk Special Ops novel.

So you think you are going to have one of those nice little pieces of quiet, after a hard day. Maybe it's not quite the normal evening, but you set out to have some fun and freedom, and maybe you're just a bit tired, but Noooooo, you have to have trouble, and if that isn't enough, a PILED ON heaping bowl of pain to go with it. Oh and it is someone else's problem, that you just got hired to deal with that decides to peel your personality apart like an onion to stare at your own weakness. Yeah. "That." Welcome to NA's world. How about some Pain in the FACE? Yeah the good kind. The kind that keeps characters begging. L.E. Doggett loves torturing his main characters, which is fun for us readers. He gives an entertaining romp through NA's life, sometimes breathless and dizzying, and you feel like you are NA traveling through it, wondering if you will get through your day alive. Some authors put you outside of the character and make you observe. Not L.E. He tosses you bag and baggage and makes you carry the lot, while you scream GET UP. No don't sit there! What do you think you are doing?! Until you embarrass yourself when your family catches you yelling at a book or tablet screen...yep. The book puts you inside a broad world that we know holds even more secrets and hostiles...Run NA. Escape while you can!
