Why would you change Gram's name in the last book? It's retarded.

ARC Was Given To Blog For An Honest Review This book has a very special meaning to me, so before I start my review, I need to take a special minute to thank author J.L. Mac. This series brought me together with whom I now consider one of my very best friends, most of you know her as Kristen Karwan, I like to call her KK. I was new to the Facebook indie-author world and joined a discussion group for J.L.’s first book Wreck Me. I never knew that one little post asking where you are you from would have brought me such happiness and a new lifelong friend.  Now with that said, thank you J.L. Mac and thank you Kristen Karwan. I will cherish you both always. Ok enough of making myself cry and onto reviewing the third book in the Wrecked series: Accept Me. This is the final book Damon and Jo’s story and I am sad to let them go. It was quite a journey right from the beginning. I was a complete mess and wrecked after reading the first book. I could not wait for book two, Restore Me, and I hoped that it would restore my wrecked heart and put it back together; which it most certainly did. The final book brings their story to conclusion and ties up all the loose ends. There are some heart-stopping moments and, as with the first two books, some amazing sex scenes. Accept me is a short read and I was hoping for a little more; I really wanted more dialog and interaction with Damon and Jo. I felt that the connection with the characters had gone astray and the storyline lacking. The second book ended with a huge secret that was revealed to Jo.  This secret is a colossal deal and it didn’t get fully played out and there was no closure. It was an opportunity to bring the reader in more emotionally. I thought I might have a big cry moment and never got it. Jo and Damon’s love in the previous books had been so intense and consuming and I missed that feeling between them in this book. There were also a few other events that came to light that I wish we could have had more happiness and emotion and I was not happy with how it played out. I say these things not because I want the author to write it how I want it, but I wanted to get my connection back with them and it is these two parts in the book and I personally felt let down. As a whole I love the series. It also looks like there is going to be a spinoff from the series involving other characters, so I am hoping that we will get to hear about Damon and Jo and how their life is progressing in the new installment.
