Overview

Accidentally Hers by Jamie Beck

When ruggedly sexy backcountry guide Grey Lowell moves to Sterling Canyon, Colorado, after buying the ski-expedition company Backtrax, his plans don’t include romance. Still, it’s fun to look—especially across a crowded restaurant at a beauty he dubs “Bambi.” But all his plans change later that night when he’s injured by a drunk driver.

Physical therapist Avery Randall is shocked to learn that Grey’s the man her brother struck with his car, and even more stunned when he arrives at the clinic expecting her help. Despite her reservations and Grey’s silly new nickname for her, Avery agrees to work with him, and passion begins to simmer. Yet with his livelihood at stake, Grey must make tough decisions that could hurt Avery and her family. Before long, Avery’s loyalties are tested, and the choices she and Grey each make may cost them their chance at lasting love.

Accidentally Yours is my first book from Jamie Beck and I listened to the audiobook version. I loved Grayson "Gray" Lowell. He was a kind, laidback, sexy, athletic, stand-up kind of awesome guy, who practically fell in love with Avery "Bambi" Randall the first time he sees her. Even though trying to have a relationship with her is all kinds of complicated and has bad idea written all over it, he can't resist her. Avery is between a Rock and a hard place when it comes to Gray. She's definitely interested, but there are roadblocks from every direction and she can't decide what is the right thing to do. I had a hard time warming to her character or seeing that she had any real chemistry with Gray. Maybe it was the narrator's portrayal, but I couldn't find any sympathy for her. Gray's friend Trip, on the other hand was funny, sexy, a total flirt and a player, but also quite lovable. 3.5 stars

I received this copy of Accidentally Hers by Jamie Beck from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review I wanted so much from this book. But, it just never caught my attention. It is a nice, quick romance.

I don't know if I can come up with enough adjectives to describe how wonderful this story is. Avery is a physical therapist(which after just having knee surgery myself totally got me hooked) and Grey owns an outdoors adventures business. Little do either of them know that after a quick glance in a restaurant how fate would put them together. This story gets you hooked from the beginning and keeps you enthralled until the end. Just a beautiful HEA.

Adored this book! I thought the writing and storyline were fresh and unique and I adored the characters. Grey is amazing. Avery is a little annoying at times but in the end I really liked her. And the beautiful setting of the Colorado mountains came to life with the wonderfully descriptive writing. While they're attraction to each other is strong, the issues standing between them are difficult at best. Family loyalty and future happiness are put to the test, can they survive no matter what decisions are made?? This is an amazing book that I highly recommend.
