About the Author

Nicole Burton is the author of Swimming Up the Sun: A Memoir of Adoption. An established playwright, her plays have been produced at venues as diverse as the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Arena Stage, MetroStage, Source Theater, Round House Theater, House of Ruth Homeless Shelter, Oak Hill Youth Reformatory, and the U.S. Capitol.
