Overview

Q: HOW MANY ZOMBIES DOES IT TAKE TO RUIN YOUR LOVE LIFE?

A: NOT MANY.

Megan Berry is a Zombie Settler by birth, which means she's part-time shrink to a bunch of semi-dead people with killer issues. All Megan really wants is to go to homecoming, but when you're being trailed by a bunch of slobbering corpses it's hard to score a date. Let's just say Megan's love life could use some major resuscitation.

Enter Ethan, quite possible the Cutest Boy in The World. The only problem? He's her supernatural tutor and completely off limits.

Megan's convinced her life can't get any worse, until someone in school starts using black magic to turn average, angsty Undead into scary, hardcore flesh-eating Zombies. Now it's up to her to stop the Zombie apocalypse.

Will Megan live to convince Ethan the spark between them is too strong to be denied? Or will the lights go out--permanently--before her sixteenth birthday?

Attention: This book was previously published as YOU ARE SO UNDEAD TO ME. It has been extensively rewritten before being compiled in this novella box set.

I love this young adult author. I’ve read a few books now and each one has been so different in terms of content. Zombies and fantastical quests shouldn’t have anything in common but with love, laughter and a quest for good over evil in both, there is more than you would think! Megan Berry is a Zombie Settler. Sounds… different. And, oh my, is it ever. Not only does Megan have to navigate the usual teenage angst she also happens to be a defender of life – for the living and the dead. A tall order but Megan seems to take everything in stride. Well, almost everything… “Nice outfit, Megan.” I look up to see Monica… standing above me, watching the zombies feed with a smirk on her flawless face. “Help me!” I beg. “Please!” She snorts. “Sorry, not into rescuing fashion victims. What are you wearing?” Creepy and funny at the same time, the humour and zombie-ishness provide so many of the book’s many charms. The characters are varied but whether you love them or not, they are extremely entertaining. Falling in and out of love, vying for a spot on the cheerleading squad or stressing over what to wear to the dance are wrestled with along with the usual responsibilities like zombie protecting and secret keeping. Megan is sarcastic yet endearing as she navigates her unconventional life. With Ethan and her best friend Jess, along with a cast of interesting characters (both dead and undead), this is a story you won’t want to miss! Thank you to the author for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This series is so much fun. I am an adult and still enjoy a good young adult romance and these have a paranormal take to them as well. Stacey Jay writes a humorous series about young girl angst for that "special" boy; high school female competitiveness; and zombies. This is more of a young adult romance with zombies thrown in than vice versa. The romance is sweet and the drama is unpredictable - I don't think you'll see everything coming. This is a fun series for young and not as young alike!!

#1 I am 35 yo mother of 5. I read smut, the dirtier the better.i don't read paranormal, no way no how. BUT for some reason, Stacy Jay's young adult paranormal books give me great entertainment. This would be the third I've read and I'm a huge fan. Megan Berry is a disaster. Seems every step she makes in this story another disaster happens. I found it really cute how she stays true to a 15 yo personality even though she has these powers. She is still boy crazy and forgetful. Wants to go on dates instead of studying chants. #2 Book 2 was better than one. we are once again immersed in the overly dramatic life of a 15 yo girl settler. Megan is a trip and the story keeps getting better with more and more paranoia at each turn. who is rising the dead #3 That teenage settler drama just keeps building. More bad decisions made, more suspects added to the list, partial questions answered and something special with a certain hottie.... I love this series. It's so easy and fun to read and the absolute craziness of it grabs your attention. #4 Holy Cupcakes! did not see that coming. a new twist and more action/drama! More Megan awesomeness, more monicster secrets, more Ethan!!! This one starts with a bang and ends on a sweet note. It's a very exciting, fast paced edition that will bug your eyes out!

I must confess that as an Adult i do love Zombies and tween books (your never to old) I wish i had some nieces to recommend this book to because i think its a great series. Grab yourself a copy people!!!!! Well that low down dirty Monica.....I am hooked to this story and can't put it down. I am gonna not be very happy with Ethan if he is involved with this mess....lol. Well i kind of knew that Jess was involved in some shady actions......ugggg BFF's sometimes i tell ya. Well i have to say i loved this series and i know there is at least one more book coming and i could not be any happier......i am so glad that Meg and Ethan are on the same page ( i think) lol. I am telling you this is a must read for young adults its a very funny and light read for the YA group and even us older adults (hahahahah). Everyone must pick up this series right now!!!!
