I got this book for a one year old child. We read this during his storytime and he just loves it. I love it too. The illustrations are out of this world. They practically pop right off the page. The storyline itself is also excellent. It does have educational value but it is entertaining as well. It is about a little disabled girl who gets her first wheelchair and demonstrates all she can do with it. It would most definitely be a great book for any disabled child to read but I also think it would also be a great read for non disabled children as well. In the course of one's life we are all bound to run into someone who is disabled. Wouldn't it be better if our children knew a little something about them and what they go through instead of growing up to be the kind of person to be afraid of or tease someone just because they are different?
