This book was a good stand alone read. It was well written and had a good predictable storyline.

While I enjoy it I do not like Amelia. She its extremely annoying, very immature & childish. She's what 15 or 16 & they baby her like she's 12. But she loves it just not when they tell her stuff. But I don't blame them she's always crying & getting mad at everyone for looking out for her safety, trying to protect her but crys when no one pays her any attention. Despite having to deal with her the story was good & you get to see how the curse started & the aftermath of how it ended.

really loved this book, although it was kind of slow at times, and a little different from the other book with the mood and point of view, but overall it's a really good book.
