What’s your pleasure?
From Lynda Aicher, author of the bestselling Wicked Play books, comes an exclusive invitation to the Boardroom—where working late has its rewards.
The Boardroom. After hours, it’s where Bay Area moguls indulge their fantasies. Ties are loosened. Inhibitions, too.
Assistant Avery Fast watched from a distance, mouth gaping, blood roaring wildly in her ears as she stared at the naked woman on the table before her. At executive Carson Haggert ordering a man to pleasure her. It made her feel guilty, embarrassed…and hot.
Carson watched and waited. Waited for Avery to notice him in the Boardroom. Waited for her to like what she saw. Waited to see what she’d do the next day. And the next. He couldn’t let her go—not when she’d seen what goes on in the Boardroom. He couldn’t stop thinking about the desire in her eyes, the flush on her cheeks, her obvious arousal.
Getting her to join was easy. But now Carson wants Avery all to himself.

Talk about things heating up in the Boardroom and I don't mean in the hot under the collar executives arguing in a meeting kind of way. The Boardroom is an erotic playground after hours and when Avery inadvertently walks in and sees what is happening, she is drawn in by sexy Carson and starts down a path of erotic pleasure the likes of which she has never seen or experienced. At it's core, this is a love story between Carson & Avery and I was happy that it wasn't all about the kink and that they actually have an intimate relationship outside of the boardroom. This is a very well written erotic story with a lot of hot times and a H/h I liked very much.
Lynda Aicher starts her new erotic romance series The Boardroom with a steamy tale of lust and love in After Hours. Avery Fast can’t believe her eyes when she goes looking for a missing file after hours in the executive boardroom and comes across a wild sex scene instead. The woman on the boardroom table being pleasured by two men is the stuff from fantasies she won’t even admit to liking to herself, and the man in the dark corner giving commands is sin himself. He also happens to be someone she recognizes, to her embarrassment. She comes to her senses soon enough and escapes – but not without knowing that her eyes might have told a different story than her actions. Carson Taggert, an executive in a different department at Avery’s company has noticed Avery before, but her intrusion into the scene he’d set up puts her in a different light. He belongs to a secret sex club that arranges scenes in boardrooms across the city, but they have strict rules and non-disclosure agreement that everyone involved must sign to protect the reputations of all involved. As such, he has to seek Avery out to make sure she understands what she’s stumbled upon. He also wants to offer her the chance to join the club, in any capacity she’d want to explore. Avery comes from a background where this kind of sexual exploration is definitely taboo, but she can’t resist the lure of exploring more with Carson. She’s strictly into voyeurism, which is Carson’s kink too and the scenes he sets up for her drive her wild. But Carson is clear that this is a sex only arrangement, not a relationship. And Avery struggles with the guilt and embarrassment she’d feel if her friends and co-workers knew what she was involved in. Can they overcome their hangups to find in each other the perfect partner? I love Lynda Aicher’s writing style and after having experienced her super sexy Wicked Play series set in a BDSM club, I hoped she’d deliver something just as exciting here and she definitely did! The angst is minimal, there are no deep dark secrets or traumatic backgrounds, just a man who was burned in a relationship wary of starting something new and a woman discovering a whole new level to her sexuality. It definitely starts on a steamy note with Avery stumbling onto the boardroom scene and the subsequent scenes are just as hot. The honest discussions that happen between Avery and Carson cover the gamut from the security involved for the men and women involved in the Boardroom to Avery’s challenge to accept that she doesn’t have to feel guilty for exploring her sexual desires. Carson might have the alpha male persona that got him his executive position and has him calling the shots in the boardroom, but he also has quite a sweet side too. He falls for Avery pretty fast (even if he is reluctant to admit it to himself) and the idea of her having playdates with someone other than him make him feel pretty possessive. He makes some choices that he has to answer to later, and Avery makes some mistakes too. In the end they find the compromise needed to restore their trust in each other and there is a lovely happy ending to this steamy romance. I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out for more in this series!
