This book is exciting! It is a tale of what happens if America should falter. The fun thing about this book was that it is not politically correct. The Characters come to life and you hate for the book to end. I wish the author would write a sequel.

This book was an entertaining read from the get go. Could have done without the political commentary but thankfully it didn't overpower the storyline.

What a gripping read! After the Fall is based on the author's own personal interpretation of a doomsday scenario. The reader is presented with an extremely plausible, albeit fictional story, surrounding future events...all very thought-provoking when you consider the present circumstances. Knowing the author is a police officer and writes from that point of view, helped solidify some of the plausibility of events for me.The characters were real and believable. It's an extremely well-written and enjoyable book. It will attract readers with an interest in both fiction and non-fiction alike. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a realistic potrayal of what to expect if the American political structure were to collapse and people were forced to live off the land and their own ingenuity.

This book is really good, although I have to admit I am a sucker for post-apocalyptic novels. It is very political, however. This did not ruin it for me, but some might be turned off a little from the anti-progressive/socialist ideas.  It's worth the read, though. Considering it is the author's first book, it's a lot of fun!
