It was a long struggle with lots of trials to test their faith. But it was a good story. It just seemed a little disjointed. By the end of the first half of the book, you feel so certain of a happy ending and then a bunch of stuff happens and the doctor's faith is tested... it was an unexpected twist, at least for me, but it was great to see how through a long struggle, the truth comes to light and the crisis in faith (and love) is resolved. Very reallistic.
