After Twilight by Amanda Ashley, Christine Feehan, Ronda Thompson

Three of romance's hottest bestselling authors -- Amanda Ashley, Christine Feehan, and Ronda Thompson -- invite you to explore the dark side, to taste the forbidden, to dive into danger with heroes who fire the blood and lay claim to the soul in these striking tales of sensual passion. A man hunts for a woman. Yet what if he is no ordinary male, but a predator in search of prey? A dark soul looking for the light? A vampire, a werewolf, a mythic being who strikes fear into the hearts of mortals? When day fades into night, when fear becomes fascination, when the swirling seduction of everlasting love overcomes the senses, it must be after twilight.

>¿Masquerade¿ by Amanda Ashley. For three lonely centuries, Jason has felt he has had nothing to live for as he cares for no one. However his dark feelings change quite dramatically when he sees Leanne perform on stage. She feels the same way, but what will happen when she learns the truth about his nocturnal secret.

¿Dark Dream¿ by Christine Feehan. The Carpathian male Falcon wants one last time walking the healing soil of his homeland Mountains after being away forever. However, to his shock, he senses his beloved mate is close by. Now Falcon has found a reason to live. However, Sara Marten fled from him once before and though she loves Falcon she remains very frightened of what he is capable of doing.

¿Midnight Serenade¿ by Ronda Thompson. Though he fled as fast as his wolf body could go, Rick wants to stop to allow his pursuers to kill him and end the curse. Wildlife expert Stephanie intercedes with the hunters ready to kill the wolf, but the beast bites her. She shoots the feral creature with her tranquilizer gun, but the wolf escapes. Later Stephanie meets Rick who worries his bite might convert her into a lycanthrope just like him. In spite of his concern, they fall in love with one another.

All three supernatural romances are well written powerhouses with strong lead characters. Sub-genre fans will enjoy this dark paranormal collection and seek other tales from the dark by this writing threesome.

This book was great, with 3 of my favorite writers contributing a story. DARK DREAMS was my favorite and in my opinion one of the best of Christine's DARK series. You'll get to meet again four other characters from previous books: Mikhail, Raven, Jacques, and Shea. And the h/h in Dark Dreams are two very special characters. Falcon is an ancient Carpathian ready to 'greet the dawn' after thousands of years in a lone existence consisting of hunting & destroying the undead. He finally meets his lifemate, Sara Marten, on his way back to one last time in his homeland. Sara is a unique heroine, already aware of vampires and the undead in the world. It doesnt take alot of soul searching to realize that Falcon is her one & only love eternal. I loved the whole 'soul mate' concept of the story, written so beautifully by Christine, and would recommend this book to anyone who searches for those 'special' books out there that tell of eternal love, everlasting. This one wont disappoint.

The only one that I read was the Dark Dream because I am a loyal Christine Feehan fan! So the thing I liked about this book is that the beginning sets off in the past, taking you back to the Prince's father, Vladmir, and the turmoil that their race had been in back then. Falcon, a loyal warrior to Vlad, once the Prince of the Carpathians, was charged with a duty to serve their Prince from a distance. So he left his homeland, loyaly protecting the human race from the evil that walks their dark streets. Sara is not a woman of wealth, as she barely has any money of her own. Yet it matters not to Falcon, as he meets her unexpectedly while nearly getting robbed. Now, Falcon must fulfill his duty to his Prince, but also to his lifemate as he shields her from the cruelness of this world and embrace her in the love of his heart. The two also journey with orphaned children who Sara nurtured and cared for while living with nothing.
