I read several chapters and she can not even get her research accurate. "Francine" spoke through her stating that Rock Hudson when he passed was met by Roddy Mcdowell (question spelling of last name) and Marlon Brando and both these actors were still living when Rock Hudson died. Roddy died in 1998 and Marlon in 2004. Shame on me for buying her book!!!!!!

I skipped past the first part of the book because it was recapping info I had read in her other books. But once it got into the celebrity stories I was completely hooked! First she gives a brief overview of the celebrity's life. Then Francine tells us what they are up to now. Whether it is true or not, it was totally riveting. I read it all in one day and told a few friends some of the stories. I am sure I will be reading it again.

I was a big fan of Sylvia's and bought a lot of her books. Her books brought me great comfort when I was grieving over the loss of my father. Like the Anonymous review I just read, there was an inconsistency in the part about Rock Hudson passing with him being met by Roddy McDowell and Marlon Brando. It is true that both actors were still living when Rock passed. I am so very disappointed. I really wanted to believe everything Sylvia wrote.

Please dont't waste your money. I had a phone reading with Sylvia a decade ago and none of her predictions--NOT ONE-- came true. Not the date of my dad's death or the resolution of a health issue. Do some research & discover things about her for yourself. She seems sincere & kind hearted but please take what she says & writes with a huge dose of scepticism.

This was a fascinating read. I certainly hope that Sylvia Browne follows up with a sequal.

I am on the fence about whether I believe in the afterlife or not, but I thought this book would at least be entertaining. Not only do I hope that what Sylvia Browne is telling us about "The Other Side" is true, I also am kind of looking forward to going there when my life is through! Now, I'm not saying that I want to die, only stating that it's nice to believe and hope that there really is a paradise waiting for us when this life is ended. The beginning of this book was a description of what the "Other Side" is like, going from the minute your spirit leaves your body, continuing through the various "healing" phases and looking back to your life, and on to how people live out their spirit lives. Like I said before, I'm not sure that I believe in this, but after reading this book, the idea of an afterlife seems very appealing to me and it makes me hope that when I die, there is something to look forward to. I see that alot of people have very negative reviews of this book, and I can understand that, but of those who doubt this book, how many of them actually know for a fact what happens to us when we die. Nobody can know what it's like, therefore, this book offers a suggestion or alternative to what happens when we leave this world. This book also covers many celebrities that have passed on. While it was interesting to read the short biographies of each of the said celebrities, the "Other Side" portion of their lives was hard to relate to, as it is portrayed that they are back to their "true forms" and these are not described as the way we are used to viewing them. All in all it was an interesting and quick read, that kept my interest throughout the book. I would recommend this book to people who have open minds concerning religion, faith and the afterlife. A definite "Feel Good" book!

It is simply amazing to believe in this day and age anyone can communicate with the dead. What is even worse is that people pay money for this ridiculous slop.

Her perfect prediction percentages are pitiful and if you read this as gospel consider yourself gullible! If you read it as pure fictional stories enjoy! Sylvia she was positive Al Gore would WIN!!!
