This book is a blast! I really liked the action and humor, some scenes were laugh out loud funny. But also, I thought the switching of gender roles was a unique, and fascinating thing to do in its world. On the Island where Dario lives (a guy), men are discriminated against by the ruling women. It brings to light social issues that men wouldn't really ever think of encountering in our world, but in here it is real and visceral. The story follows Dario who has to fight to win the love of the woman he madly fallen for. But end up discovering a plot that could put everything at risk, so he has to decide on whether to save the island, or Gwendolyn, the woman he loves. Great story, great themes, great writing, great action. Highly recommend.
