Pedro Gonzalez is a handsome, wealthy, Colombian from Medellin, SA, who has been asked to work with Angela Hamilton, a foreign correspondent for the Washington Post. She has been given an assignment to cover emerald smuggling and drug trafficking in Colombia. When Pedro meets her plane, he is smitten by the golden-haired beauty. Though she rebuffs his attempts to seduce her, they work together trying to discover the criminals. Their investigation takes them from the tropical rainforests to the snow-capped mountains of Bogota. Angela is captured by a vicious drug lord because she refused to heed Pedro's warning of danger. She is in peril of losing her life in an emerald mine, never to heard of again.
