About the Author

Francine Taylor-Campbell is a trained teacher with more than 19 years experience in the teaching of Chemistry and Mathematics. She has taught Chemistry at all levels. She holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of the West Indies, Mona. Her passion now lies in ensuring that the principles of Chemistry are taught in a manner that students can understand. Francine has been writing Chemistry lessons for the Gleaner Company of Jamaica since 2000 and has been involved in assessing students' work as an Assistant Examiner with the Caribbean Examinations Council, since 1999, in the areas of Mathematics and Chemistry.
