Aladdin and His Magical Lamp based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
This is another one of the "Usborne Reading: Series One" books and retells the story from the Arabian Nights about Aladdin, the magic lamp, and the genie. One thing that I have noticed about Usborne fiction books for young people is that, apparently in an attempt to appeal to today's "hip" children, the writers seem to work overtime at being a little "cute" in their wording and phraseology. Otherwise, they are quite enjoyable for young readers. Of course, if you oppose stories about magic lamps and genies, then you would want to avoid this one. However, many of us simply look at these tales as fantasy fiction.
