Alex is a young boy who learns there is no particular way to say prayers. As he goes throughout his day, Mama reminds him to ask God to watch over him. Alex's prayers rhyme, but Paw Paw's do not. This boy learns that God listens no matter how or when we pray.

About the Author
Brenda W. McIntyre is a freelance author who has held a variety of jobs over the years. She has been a house parent at a residential children’s home, the Acquisitions Supervisor in an academic library, and a prison librarian, but her first love has always been writing. Currently she is a Behavioral Therapist for individuals with developmental disabilities. Her articles appear in a variety of publications including: His Voice, GEORGIA Magazine, Clubhouse Magazine (Focus on the Family), The Upper Room, The Christian Pulse, Light From the Word, and Georgia Backroads. In 2004 she won the Best Drama award at the Florida Christian Writers Conference for Flower Power.
