About the Author

From an early age, Seeta Angus loved to act, making up her own plays and entertaining the neighbours in her street. The cast of characters were always the same. There was Pinkie, a small toy pink cat, Nelson, an old one-eyed Teddy bear, and Betty, a rag doll with yellow woollen hair. The props were a drum and a tambourine. Tickets were carefully made and sold for one penny. The proceeds were later spent on sweets! This love of acting continued and after leaving school, Seeta studied Speech and Drama, gaining an LRAM and her teaching qualifications. Seeta now lives in the West of Scotland and spends much of her time writing her funny stories for young children. The rest of her time, she reads everything from comics to Shakespeare, as long as chocolate is on hand!
