An Earth woman is claimed by an alien clan of three men, bringing their two worlds to the brink of war.

Amelia Ryan fled Earth’s fanatically religious government to live quietly among the aliens of Plasius. Her life of peace shatters when a three-man clan from the planet Kalquor kidnaps her and holds her prisoner.

With their people poised on the verge of extinction, the Kalquorians are determined to have Amelia for their mate. Amelia is equally determined to escape. But when her body thrills to the ruthless domination of her captors, she finds herself surrendering to desires she never imagined possible.

Some scene were bit harsh but other than that i thought it was grand. Wish there was more about their life on kalqour though

While I enjoyed this book, I'm glad I read it second, after Jessica's story or I never would have continued with this series. The "forced seduction" scenes were very, very close to rape and the background stories of abuse overtook an otherwise interesting story. I got past these problems but still think her other books, especially Jessica's and Lindsey's stories were better.

There is a good story to go with all the hot sex. The idea of a sexually repressive Earther society is not hard to believe. And the mental and emotional consequences of that society on Amelia are heartbreaking. The concept of the clan is very appealing. I really enjoyed the story and look forward to the next.

Right then, from the start I will say this is a Marmite book with some triggers. You will either love it or hate it, and if dubious consent isn't your thing, then you probably won't enjoy it. As for me, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Amelia is living on another planet after leaving sexually repressed Earth behind. Now with any situation where sexual repression is rife, so is the 'dark' side - rape, abuse etc. Unfortunately, Amelia has been on the receiving end of long-term rape and it has affected how she views sex. When she comes face to face with a clan from Kalquor, they are everything that she shouldn't desire, but does. She excuses what they do to her as they 'made her do it', even when she wasn't. It is the only way she can enjoy herself without drowning in guilt. The three men of the Clan are each individual, with their own strengths and talents. One thing that is the same for each of them, is the love and devotion they have for their Matara - in this case, Amelia. This is Science Fiction Erotica and I got lost in their world. Whether it was the debauchery of Plasius, or the virility of the Kalquorian males, it just ticked the boxes. There is enough length for you to lose yourself in their worlds. Very well-written, and with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow, Alien Embrace is a book to enjoy. Whether you love it or hate it, you will not be able to call it bland! * I received this book from Totally Bound Publishing in return for a fair and honest review. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

Not a bad read however their were too many sex scenes (and I can't believe I said that), it really took somthing away from the story. I was a little disappointed that Earth and it's government seems to have de-evolved into a total religious dictatorship. A step backward instead of forward and that women have lost all basic human rights in Earths society. Not loving that at all. A lot of mixed feelings so only three stars. ...................................................................................
