All Celia wanted was to be a wife and a mother. All she was getting was a string of bad ex-boyfriends; ones that she had to run away from. All she had left was the clothes on her back, and the knowledge that she couldn’t go back home. Ever. She was tiring of running, and running out of places to run to. Then Celia sees the opportunity to be a mail order bride for an alien race in desperate need of women. To be a wife and mother, combined with being on the other side of the universe? Sign her up!
But when Celia is left without a husband on the other side of the interstellar portal, she has to make a split-second decision — marry the golden-eyed seven-foot plus stranger named Skarbemir, or go back to earth, to the life she thought she’d left behind. Marrying Skar might be a literal marriage of convenience, but it also might just be what her heart desires…

What a rip off. I get that indie authors want to make money, but this was ridiculous. The book appears to be 48 nook pages, but after the description, about the author sections etc, it equates to be about 37 pages. $2.99 is not a lot of money by far, but by ebook standards, there are lengthier works out there that cost less. This could have been a really good novel hadnthe characters been developed, and the plot more eventful. Instead, this is not even a novella.
