I'm a 15-year-old girl with Asperger's Syndrome and this book is very outstanding. It's a book that's not just for adults to understand about children with Asperger's Syndrome, but it's also a book for kids with Asperger's Syndrome that they can relate to and understand why they are so different from other people. I loved this book. I think it would be nice if other people read this book so they can understand about Asperger's Syndrome

I purchased this book to share with my 8 year old son's class. (My son was not present when it was read.) I wanted them to have a better understanding of why Noah is Noah and that the behavoirs and personality he has are because of Asperger's Syndrome. They were instantly interested in learning about Asperger's Syndrome. The book has great pictures that went perfectly with the captions on the page. There were sooo many pictures that reminded the children and especially myself, of Noah and positions he may take during the day. The children asked many questions and have responded well, especially in trying to include Noah more in playing and encouraging him to join in with them. A great, great book to help children without AS to understand those that do....A wonderful way to look at the Asperger child through pictures of cats with captions.....

I am not going to fall into some arcane blather about how it hits on all the varied and confounding presentations of Aspergers, rather, I will just say: "GREAT!" A book that will give persons working or living with children and others with this disorder a quick yet clear insight into this, well, way of life. Confounding on both sides this little picture book goes a long way in giving all parties an understanding that will go far in promoting simple interaction while helping dissolve preconceptions and misinterpretations. Many of the modern attempts to understand the autism spectrum have begun to present the idea that we all have a bit of these qualities to one extent or other. If you do not see reflected a bit of self I would suggest a deeper look and not a pat of self congratulations on great solidity with purported normality.(I Go off to repetitive tasks with a broad smile)

This book uses pictures of cats, straightfoward language, and wonderful humor to explain some of the quirky aspects of being a child with Asperger's Syndrome. It helped my daughter tremendously as we started to teach her about her diagnosis while still emphasizing her strengths and talents.

My son is 13,has Asperger Syndrome and loves cats. He really was able to identify with this book. I also think it would be great for relatives of people with Aspergers so they can understand.

This book is designed to educate about asperger syndrome, but is actually a pretty cute and funny book about cats too.

A superb little book. I actually bought it for a friend for her birthday, we both work with children who have Aspergers and also is a cat lover - so it was spot on for a gift. I've got to admit having a sneaky read though before wrapping it up (but I did tell her!). It's so informative and entertaining all at the same time. It would serve a purpose to share with parents who have just received a diagnosis or who have their suspicions. Therefore it is great to share with children as well - the pictures of the kittens actually tell the story more than the text does. The information is accurate yet presented in a non-threatening way. Excellent for those who are experiencing this form of special needs, are wanting to find out all about it or who work in this field. That brings me to the pictures. They are high quality glossy images that are simply adorable but when linked with the text accentuates what is being passed on.

A wonderful and cute way to explain someof the characteristics of Aspergers Syndrome. The adorable pictures of kitties and the cute prose in this book kept me giggling until the end.

This is the most extraordinary book; it simplifies the complex condition of aspergers in a unique way. The eyes of a cat portray it beautifully.

I normally dispise cutesy books like this and I am not really a cat person. But I saw this and started flipping through it, nodding my head-almost crying in the Barnes and Nobles. It's such a well-written, simple book that is very heartwarming, charming, and funny. It makes finding more things to love about my son so much more fun! I've given this book as a gift to several family members to explain AS to them in a way that reminds them that there are wonderful things about my son, many of them can even be attributed to his AS. It's very positive. I also recommend this one to teachers of inclusion classes who will have a child with an ASD in their classroom, to help them and their students know what to expect in their new classmate.

Our son was just recently diagnosed with Asperger's. This book was purchased by my mother for us and it was an exceptional purchase! It brought tears to our eyes, because the obvious of it being so relevant and personal, but also it is loving and playful in it's accurate approach of being informative. We are purchasing a copy for our family member's families for Christmas, to be given to them from our son. We highly recommend this book, because it's basic and straight-forward, but gentle in helping others to understand these amazing people!:)

The book describes the symptoms and behaviors of an Asperger Syndrome child using cats. I bought this book for a friend whose son has Asperger. She shared it with him and he enjoyed seeing that someone understood his feelings. I would highly recommend this book.

***** An awesome book for children (and adults) of all ages. I bought the copy as a gift to my God child who does have aspergers. I shared it first with her grandmother and asked her to write on each page how the book related to the child.

I bought this book for my sister to help her explain all about autism and aspergers to her students during autism awareness month. I decided to read it before giving it to her. I then decided to buy a copy of it for myself. I believe this book will help me to explain to my son all about himself to him. I also belive that it will help his cousins to understand more about my son.

This book was wonderful for teaching siblings, classmates, Aunts, and grandparents how our son is not so very different as he sometimes seems. My mom went out and bought one for herself to help her explain her grandson to others. Our son really liked it, too, and commented on several cats that were "just like me".

The metaphor is very cute, but almost unnecessary, as important lessons sre taught and developed, in amanner that is both understandable and memorable. Well done, and worth referring to!

This book says it all so well. It is excellent for children who have Asperger to help them understand themselves. And strongly recommended for teachers with a special child in their classroom; should be shared with the classmates. This is the third copy I've purchased and shared.
