About the Author

Lisa Mondello has held many jobs in her life but being a published author is the last job she'll ever have. She's not retiring! She blames the creation of the personal computer for her leap into writing novels. Otherwise, she'd still be penning stories with paper and pen. I have recently discovered Lisa Mondello's books and can hardly wait for the latest in the Heroes of Providence series. Lisa's books grab your attention immediately. I have learned, however, that e-books do not seem to be as closely proofread as printed paper copies--hardback and paperback. Although the errors seem fewer in the more recent publications by Lisa Mondello, I would suggest better proofreading for grammar, spelling, and punctuation, which would make smoother reading.

If this is a best selling author than the readers must not have English as their first language since they keep giving it such high marks. Every page or at the most every other page had grammatical errors galore. Present tense and past tense is unfamiliar to this author but I guess it does not matter since she is a best selling author after all. If this is what a best selling author material looks like I wonder what a worse author material will look like. At least it was free.
