About the Author

J. Daniels is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Alabama Summer, Dirty Deeds and Sweet Addiction series.

Best known for her sexy, small-town romances, her debut novel, Sweet Addiction, was first published in 2014 and went on to become an international bestseller. Since then, she has published more than ten novels, including the Dirty Deeds series with Forever Romance.

Daniels grew up in Baltimore and currently lives in Maryland with her husband and two kids. A former full-time Radiologic Technologist, she began writing romance after college and quickly discovered a passion for it. You'll still catch her in scrubs every now and then, but most of her time is spent writing these days—a career she is eternally grateful for.

Always an avid reader, Daniels enjoys books of all kinds, but favors Romance (of course) and Fantasy. She loves hiking, traveling, going to the mountains for the weekend, and spending time with her family.

A entertaining read.

I have to tell you that this one did not do it for me, Tessa was annoying. Luke was ridiculous, these guys were adults yet they acted like children, I seriously wanted to knock them out. They were toxic, they probably should not have gotten together. Luke's reasoning for pushing Tessa away was ridiculous. I think what saved it for me, was reading about Mia and Ben, I liked Mason and I want to know what happens with Reed.

I thought the first book in this series was great but i was so excited to start this one as the first book gave you just enough luke and tessa to hook you and make you curious as to how it would all play out. This book did not disapoint, it was everything i hoped and more, fantastic doesnt seem quite enough to describe how much i loved this book. Its a full length novel that is a quick read you cant put down.

"It shouldn't be possible, but I think the more you love someone, the easier they are to hate." Isn't it amazing how being so deeply in love with someone makes you want to commit murder? If you have read book 1 of the Alabama Summer series, you'll be familiar with the train wreck that is Tessa and Luke. As Author J. Daniels points out, this book could be a standalone. But really, do yourself a favor and read book 1. You'll want the back story to see how deeply the two main characters feel. The true mettle of a great author is that they immerse you in the character's world so deeply. You feel what they feel and turn to hope for a better ending. I'll tell you, I was feeling this. There were parts of the story where - toss a coin- I was going to slap the crap out of either character. Didn't matter. They were both so stubborn, pigheaded and closed off. Yep, I was going to throw the eBook at one point I was so frustrated with them. But, pause, isn't that the telling tale that the writing was stellar? This is a must read series for me. I loved the character interactions from the previous stories continue to make the read enjoyable when I wasn't feeling murderous. I'm not an overly angsty person, so in rating against the others, not my top #1 book. However, its still a great read. A rollercoaster to HEA with some very, very sexy scenes. 4 out of 5 'ebook came out unscathed' stars.

I didn't know it was possible to enjoy a book so much while hating one of the main characters. While I am not a Luke fan, and still wasn't at the end of the book, I love Tessa and her story. I am happy she got the ending she deserved. Worth reading :)

4.5 star I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well I was kept interested in this story. The story has laughs, secrets, pain, suspense, naughty fun, and secrets. If you have not already read the below I would recommend reading this book first: Where I Belong (Alabama Summer) (Volume 1) This is Tessa and Luke’s story. Tessa and Luke were together until Tessa had a scare. Now they are both trying to get over each other. No matter how many people they meet they still think about each other. But Luke keeps his life private. When he keeps everything from Tessa she wants more. When Luke refuses they are at a standstill. Can Luke open up and finally let Tessa in? If not will he let her go to move on with her life? Or will he let her go just when she will take him as he is? Or are they both going to let each other go? I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This book kept your emotions rolling up and down. I absolutely loved every single page of this book and can not wait for Reed's story. Love me some Bama Boy's!

All I want is a book full of sexiness, angst and gripping moments! This is the second book in this series, it can be read as a standalone but I would recommend to read the first too as the previous characters show up. Luke is a total alpha male, protective and Tessa is a feisty woman with an independent personality! They have history, they argue but you cannot not see their attraction. Their chemistry is off the charts and the sexy moments are hot! This book will squeeze your heart and in the end leave you with a smile

This book definitely had me on an emotional rollercoaster. J. Daniels not only delivers some funny moments with that mouth on Tessa but also some heartaches and of course some sexy.  Tessa is feisty and I love her attitude and personality. There were times were I just wanted to reach in my kindle and smack her upside the head and maybe slap some sense into her.  Luke is broody and controlling and such a damn typical male who would rather be miserable then open up about his feelings. But that doesn't take away from his oh so sexiness!!  I love the character development and the overall flow of the story. You get sucked right in from the very beginning and get all the feels. I laughed, cried and moan a bit. Luke just has that way about him with just the words that come out of his mouth. This was yet another great story from J. Daniels and I would recommend reading this. I will impatiently be waiting for more from these characters and to get Reed's story next.

So I had to sit a day & absorb all the feels this book brought out. And I have to say it again wow does this author know how to start a book off with bang or what!?!?!! In the case of Where I Belong it was hot & steamy & man was I wanting more! In the case of All I Want it brought out some anger issues & me wanting to throat punch Luke!! That didn't change through out a lot of the book. I was both sides of loving & hating Luke. I also couldn't help myself from feeling frustrated with Tessa. Such a stubborn little red head! Looking past that my heart hurt for her. Yes she started some of it by not being forth coming with Luke in Where We Belong & ending the relationship. But in this book she let Luke know what she wanted out of a relationship & it was his inability to open up that had them at a crossroads. I love J. Daniels writing & she's very good at having you feel what her characters feel & good at bringing out the laughs. I know from previous books from her that she can also have some emotional parts. But this book omg it was one big emotional rollercoaster. I loved it!!! When your wanting to shake Tessa, throat punch Luke, than hold Tessa & cry with her, soothe Luke & than laugh with all the characters. That tells me that this book hit the mark & is gonna be an all time favorite of mine. Those are the books that will always stick with you.

Glad the book finally went live on Nook. Unfortunately, I was impatient and bought it elsewhere. This book reads like other books by J. Daniels so, if you enjoy her other books, chances are you will like this one too. Now the wait for Reed's story starts. *sigh* (I'll probably end up buying this book on the Nook also since it is one I'm going to want to read again and Nook is currently my prefered ebook format plus it will keep all my J. Daniels collection together.)
