About the Author
I am of Bangladeshi heritage. I was brought up in inner city Birmingham. I attended Holte Comprehensive and Birmingham City University. I have travelled around the UK and have visited many different psychiatric hospitals to gain understanding of the different types of mental illness and the treatment that is available to them. I have always had a passion for writing fiction, however I did not have the courage to take it further than a hobby. My favourite author is Toni Morrison. My favourite book is Shopaholic and Baby By Sophie Kinsella. I love travelling the world to gain knowledge and acquire new experiences as well as collecting tacky souvenirs! My favourite city in the world is New York City, USA. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. I am currently based in Birmingham, although I travel all over the UK for work and pleasure.
