I was taking a chance buying this book because I thought there might be strange natural ingredients in it. But it's all normal ingredients that I already use and love. And the recipes I've tried so far are outstanding AND quick! I don't have diabetes, but I bought this since my dad had it and I don't want to get it.

I purchased this book for my boyfriend who has diabetes. I didn't expect the recipes to be so good. I thought I would be cooking for him separately. But I am eating some of the recipes just for me, and I am hard to please. Some of my favorites are the middle eastern meatballs, curry chicken breast salad, tequila lime chicken with spinach fettuccine, and the meatloaf. I love all the salads I've tried so far. The tips in the really helpful too. Thanks.

Jackie¿s book is a fabulous combination of sound and accurate nutrition advice packed with creative and delicious recipes. Tips and fun facts educate and entertain the reader and the recipes contain natural and flavorful ingredients. I recommend this book to clients and friends regularly it is definitely a must have for anyone¿s cookbook collection!

Recipes are well written and simple to follow. They're the best of both worlds: tasty and healthy. And they're great for the whole family, even if you don't have diabetes!

I’m always happy to eat a recipe from this newest edition of The All-Natural Diabetes Cookbook by Jackie Newgent, RDN. For one, I want to stay healthy … I’m trying to prevent the big three: heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. And the recipes from this cookbook certainly fall into the category of helping with all of these. I love that I don’t need to eat vegetarian, but the author’s recipes help me get plenty of vegetables either way. Some of my favorites so far include Roasted Greek Eggplant with Feta, Cajun Grains, Farmers’ Market Mushroom Pizza, and Tequila-Lime Chicken and Spinach Fettuccine. As a bonus, I love the beautiful photos and the clean design of the book. I recommend this cookbook not just for people with diabetes, but for anyone wanting to enjoy a healthier lifestyle.
