## 90 Pages, NOT 150 as it indicates. Had I known that I would not have purchased this. This was too short for it to be developed properly. The hero and heroine were already in love when the story begins. They just hadn't admitted to it. They get stranded in a cabin due to a snow storm and finally hook up. They next morning they admit to being in love, quick epilogue, the end. They are both likeable characters (although the hero was a tad arrogant for my taste) and the sex scene was hot, hence the extra star.

It was only 90 pages that's true but it was a fun 90 pages. It could have been more suspenseful if Jamie and Vanessa had embarked on a relationship first but sometimes don't you just wish that the two-crazy-in-love-but-it's-a-secret-that-everyone-knows-anyway just find their HEA without all the drama?

Nobody Does it Better is Lauren Blakely’s latest book/novella in the Lucky in Love series that is funny, steamy and romantic. A definite must -read to those that love a good forbidden romance story! In this story we get to meet Shaw and Vanessa who are connected by Perri (Shaw’s sister and Vanessa’s best friend). Although they have been friends for a while, it has always been clear to Shaw that Vanessa is off-limits, but that hasn’t stopped him from wanting her. On the other hand, Vanessa’s loyalty lies with Perri and she can’t do anything about her feelings for Shaw because she is afraid of what Perri might say. So the two have been avoiding what they have for each other and with Perri’s wedding on the way it has become a race for some very interesting matchmakers to get the two of them together. Yet neither expected to get stranded in a cabin when a storm hits and now they have to face each other and find out if what they feel is mutual or not. I absolutely loved reading this story, it was sweet and swoon worthy! Now since it is a novella we don’t get to read an extended version of the story, so the pace is faster but well thought out. Blakely managed to deliver yet another story full of interesting characters and storyline. Shaw is everything you would want in a leading character, he is charming and has a way with words to leave you swooning for the guy. He is also a very sexy firefighter who loves what he does every day no matter how risky it can be. Vanessa has an interesting taste in fashion and owns a bowling alley. She is cool and has a charming personality. So it’s no surprise that the two would click right away. Their chemistry is instant and undeniable. But they maintain loyalties to those that they are closest to and that is Perri. It was nice to see how they are close to their siblings and to their friends. Previous characters make appearances but this can be real as a stand alone. All in all, if you are looking for a short story full of swoon worthy moments then I would highly suggest reading this novella and any other books by the author. You will not regret it! :) **I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review**

Nobody Does it Better by Lauren Blakely is a short hot romance that takes place in the world of her Lucky In Love series and follows after both Best Laid Plans & The Feel Good Factor. IT WAS AWESOME to see these characters get their own story. With all the sideways glances and obvious flirting that took place in the The Feel Good Factor between Vanessa and Shaw they totally deserved their own story - add in that it was angst free and somewhat of a "snowed-In" trope and I COULDN'T say no! Forbidden romance. Sister's best friend / best-friend's brother with a clear "hell No" from Perri about them ever getting together and it literally took a snowstorm and a village to create the perfect set of circumstances to push both Shaw and Vanessa out of their comfort zones and, finally, into each other's arms. Enjoy!

Nobody Does It Better by Lauren Blakely is what we were waiting for after Feel Good Factor. Shaw has known Vanessa since forever and shes been "off limits" on pain of damage to his manhood, as threatened by Shaw's sister, Vanessa's best friend. Only problem there has been something simmering between them for a long, loooong time. Building off what we saw in Feel Good Factor with Perri and Derek and the banter and attraction between Shaw and Vanessa we finally get to see them sort out their feelings. Courtesy of some little pushes from "friends" (except Perri, she is in denial). This was a fun, fast, flirty and hot book. I wish it had been longer so that we could have gotten more fun with Shaw and Vanessa. This felt like more of an addendum to the previous book. The idea of matchmaking meddlers was clever but not an overwhelming part. Overall if you enjoyed Feel Good Factor pick up Nobody Does It Better by Lauren Blakely it's what you've been waiting for. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy of this book I received for free in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)

3.75 stars--NOBODY DOES IT BETTER is the third instalment in Lauren Blakely’s contemporary, adult LUCKY IN LOVE erotic, romance series. This is firefighter Shaw Keating, and bowling centre operator Vanessa Marquez’s story line. NOBODY DOES IT BETTER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary. Told from three first person points of view (Vanessa, Shaw and Derek) NOBODY DOES IT BETTER follows the friends to lovers relationship between firefighter Shaw Keating, and bowling centre operator Vanessa Marquez. Shaw Keating has been in love with his sister’s best friend for most of his life. Shaw’s sister Perri has warned our hero away from Vanessa on more than one occasion but Shaw is determined to make Vanessa his own. A winter snow storm finds our couple alone in the cabin, a cabin they had been preparing for Perri and Derek’s honeymoon. What ensues is the friendship to lovers night of romance between Shaw and Vanessa, and the potential fall-out when their would-be rescuers include Shaw’s sister Perri who is determined to keep them apart. NOBODY DOES IT BETTER is a novella length, fast paced story of friendship, family, romance and love; of hidden feelings, and a secret set-up where the Book Club Ladies consider themselves cupid and matchmakers for the young and young at heart. The premise is entertaining; the romance is sexy and sassy; the characters are colorful, energetic and fun.

Lauren Blakely is one of my favorite authors because she takes a lot of time to develop her characters and they’re always people you can easily imagine being your best friends. They know you better than you know yourself and are always willing to lend an ear when you have a problem and more likely to tease the ever living daylights out of you just because they know they can get away with it. This novella brings together two characters we have met in previous books and trust me, Shaw and Vanessa find plenty of steamy things to do to keep themselves occupied! Trust me, this one is HOT! I read an early copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

I loved that it was the best friends sister trope. These characters were fun to visit and I fell for them all. You will laugh at their banter, blush with all the hotness, and fall for this Novella! This Must Read will be a perfect read to unwind with!

4.5 stars! Yessss! I have been waiting for Shaw and Vanessa's love story since Best Laid Plans and of course Lauren Blakely did not disappoint. This sweet novella made me so dang happy. I didn't want it to end. Although it's a short story, it doesn't lack anything. It has the right amount of humor and heat mixed with Lauren Blakely's classic and brilliant dialogue. I loved it! I complete fell for both Shaw and Vanessa! These two have been crushing on each other for so long, it created amazing forbidden tension throughout the series. I loved their flirty banter, their undeniable chemistry and their sexy times. They were everything! Sometimes you just need a heart happy, low angst, sexy romance like Nobody Does It Better. I highly recommend picking this book up immediately.

When it comes to forbidden romances nobody does them better than Lauren Blakely. I'm such a sucker for the whole best friend's sibling trope and I was just chomping at the bit for Vanessa and Shaw's story. This story left me with such a smile on my face. I laughed and swooned and definitely had to fan myself from the heat these two generated. I loved getting to know more about Vanessa. She's fun, sweet and loyal-almost to a fault. She's the kind of woman everyone wants to be friends with. I loved seeing her put herself out there and own up to feelings she tried to ignore. Shaw? Well, Shaw just made me grin. He's funny but has a sexy streak a mile wide. I could definitely picture him front and center on a fireman's calendar with a smolder, then laughing it up with the photographer after. I liked him and really respected him. Watching him finally go after Vanessa made me cheer. I loved watching these two dance around each other. Their banter was was fun and flirty and the longing between them to be something more was so palpable. I would have cheered when they finally acted on their feelings but I was too busy fanning myself. Their sexy times were, well, sexy. Their relationship outside the bedroom was just as important to them and I enjoyed watching them figure out if they could really have it all with each other. Catching up with friends from other books always makes me grin. The book club ladies in this book? Well, I hope to be half as fun as they are when I'm their age. I just adored them. It was nice to catch up with Arden and Perri and their men as well. I'd like to live in this book world and just be friends with all these characters! The writing and pacing in this book just flowed seamlessly. I was hooked from the very first page and didn't want it to end-even though I read it in one sitting because I didn't want to put it down. That's what this Author's writing does for me. It creates the perfect escape. The audio of this book is fantastic! If you aren't an audio fan, I urge you to give this book a listen. The performances were just spot on. I love how these narrators work together to deliver this story! Also? There's novellas with the audio that you WON'T want to miss-I'm still re-listening to them and swooning all over again. I loved every moment of this book. It's sweet and sexy and left me with such a grin on my face. I absolutely loved this book and would recommend it-and the audio as well!

4.5 stars This was a sweet, low drama, and sexy best friend's brother novella. We previously met the hero and heroine, Shaw and Vanessa, in Best Laid Plans and The Feel Good Factor, but this novella can be enjoyed as a stand alone as well. Nobody Does it Better is on the shorter side since it's a novella, but it has all the things I love about Lauren Blakely's books - laugh out loud humor, fantastic characters, and yummy sexy times! ;) Vanessa and Shaw had such scorching chemistry! I also appreciated that there wasn't a lot of angst or drama. It let the story really focus on the connection between Shaw and Vanessa. The addition of the Book Club Ladies was a hoot and I loved the extra bit of fun they added to the story. One of my favorite parts of the entire Lucky in Love series, is the friendship between the three leading ladies. Arden, Perri, and Vanessa are so supportive of each other and I love that they will each drop everything they're doing to be there for their friend. I really enjoyed the little cameos and glimpses into the future for the characters in the previous books. This was the perfect way to end the series!

Nobody Does it Better is so aptly titled. Lauren Blakely is such a word wizard and really knows how to pack even a shorter book chock full with all of the sexiness, fun, goodness and feels! I love Shaw and Vanessa and the fact that they have both been pining for each other for so long. They are both amazing characters as I find myself saying about all of this author's heroes and heroines. I love how close all of these friend are! But all this time, neither Shaw or Vanessa have wanted to cross the line set forth by Shaw's sister Perri, who is none other than Vanessa's best friend. Talk about a no-no. But why does it have to be? Shouldn't two people who are absolutely perfect for each other and have chemistry for days, deserve to be together? Praise the universe for snow storms and hot chocolate! Call it mother nature, Derek, the ladies from the book club or even fate, but thankfully Shaw and Vanessa get a chance to look their feelings right in the eye and figure out what to do about them. Another winner!

Forbidden love between a girl and her best friends brother. We met and fell for Vanessa during Best Laid Plans and The Feelgood Factor. Vanessa is the fun loving friend that runs the bowling alley and dresses in vintage 1950s clothing. Vanessa is in love with her best friend Perri's brother Shaw. Shaw is a firefighter in the wonderful little town of Lucky Falls and the hot Shaw loves the ladies. His sister has forbid him to date her friend, threatened to do damage to his male parts if he did so Shaw may have the hots for Vanessa but there is no way he is going to act on those feelings. That is until there is a chance Vanessa will belong to someone else. The Book Club ladies are plotting to set her up with one of their step sons and there is no way Shaw is letting that happen. Game on. I love the characters in this town. This is book 3 in this series and I loved their story. Shaw is funny and full of silly jokes. Vanessa is sweet and I love her backstory as well. The Book Club ladies are hilarious and I hope I am like them at their age. Love them. So much love with these friends and this town it makes me want to live there. I received an early copy to read and review and give my honest opinion. I loved this book and highly recommend it.

There is nothing better than this book! I loved this rom-com! This is a stand-alone in a series, so you don’t need to read the others before it. But having read the book before this one (The Feel Good Factor) made this one all the more sweeter since I already knew Shaw & Vanessa. This book has the perfect mixture of romance/swoon, comedy, tension and heat. I laughed at the beginning, smiled throughout, felt for both of these characters and swooned at the end. If you want a quick rom-com that makes you forget your problems, then read this book!

Couldn't have named it better myself!!! This the third book in the ‘Lucky In Love’ series by Lauren Blakely. It’s a fast paced novella about Shaw Keating, a sexy as sin firefighter and Venessa Marquez, owner of Pin Up Lanes, a retro bowling alley. If you’ve read the previous books in this fabulous series (and if not, get on that, stat! You’re missing out on some serious goodness!!) then you know about the attraction these two share. Even as secondary characters the burned brightly, nut now?? As the central characters they are blisteringly HAWT, I mean scorching. The chemistry, the banter, the flirty looks and yeah… the history, it’s all just right there. Vanessa and Shaw have had a thing for each other since their high school years, but it’s gone unrequited and mostly ignored for nearly two decades thanks to Perri (best friend of Vanessa, and Shaw’s sister) forbidding it from happening. But, one snowy night; one mountain cabin and things are about to change. Will it go the way the two heart hungry souls want or will a wrench be thrown in the works. Read it and find out. This was a fabulous, sweet and sexy read with absolutely no angst. My only complaint… it finished too soon, I wanted much more from these two characters. But, whether it’s a novella or a full length book, Lauren couldn’t have picked a better title, for her writing and the book’s name. `Nobody Does It Better.

Nobody does it better than Lauren Blakely when it comes to a sweet, sexy and smart little love story! I knew Shaw and Vanessa just had to find a way to each other after getting glimpses of their life long crushes on each other in The Feel Good Factor. And I was not disappointed. This book is fast-paced and yet their romance is slow to get off the ground. But once they find themselves alone at last with no interruptions by Perri, Shaw's sister and Vanessa's best friend, all bets are off. And they make the most of their time in a snow-covered secluded cabin where all their long-held feelings can finally be said. Shaw and Vanessa are perfect together, just like all of the Blakely couples before them. And this book, of course, includes wonderful secondary characters including a trio of book loving women who are determined to find every single person their match, all the while enjoying wonderfully bawdy thoughts. They stole the show more than once and I loved that they had a few chapters via text to themselves. I do hope we see more of them in the future. For that easy-going love story that is guaranteed to make you smile broadly, grab Nobody Does it Better. It is worthy of a solid 5 stars and will make you all kinds of happy.

Nobody Does It Better is more novella in length compared to its two predecessors, Best Laid Plans and The Feel Good Factor, but it's got every bit of that rom-com goodness that the full-length novels had. I liked that hint of a twist with the falling-for-my-sibling's-best-friend--which could also be falling-for-my-best-friend's-sibling--what with Perri, Shaw's sister, being the one to make it clear that Shaw was to stay away from Vanessa. It had nothing to do with Shaw being a bad guy but more to do with what many saw as his reputation as a guy who got around...A LOT. But you see, he's had a thing for one girl and one girl only ever since they were in high school and that's none other than Vanessa. And hey, it's a very mutual thing going on, and all it takes is a snowstorm to give them a push. Lauren Blakely never fails to create main characters that make it impossible for me to not like them at the very least. I've liked Shaw and Vanessa from the moment they were first introduced, but reading their story made me fall in love with them. These two had chemistry, but they were also saddled with a whole lot of guilt since they had feelings for each other but then the Perri factor was constantly stalling any progress they'd make. Sure, I've read other books before that have had used the same trope and I've come across stories that have had the main characters trapped somewhere due to some force of nature, but there's something about Blakely's writing that makes everything all the more charming and endearing. I adored the romance and the passion as well as the friendship Shaw and Vanessa shared, making for a fun quickie of a read. I'm giving Nobody Does It Better five stars. ♥

What does it take to finally make a move on the forbidden person you've had unforgettable stolen kisses with, and watched from afar for years? You'll have to pick up this fun, sweet, and steamy novella to find out! I have been looking forward to Shaw and Vanessa's story, and it was everything I wanted, and so much more! After watching their lingering glances and flirty banter over the last couple of books, I could not have been happier with their sweet and steamy romance! There is so much to love about their journey, from meddling friends, family, and book club ladies, to Blakely's signature banter, to the explosive passion that has been building to a fevered pitch, this novella has it all. I loved everything about this quick read and can't get enough of these residents of Lucky Falls in Blakely's fabulous Lucky in Love series!

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review** Nobody Does It Better is set in the same world as two of Blakely's previous releases, Best Laid Plans and The Feel Good Factor. This is the story of Shaw and Vanessa and I was so excited to dive into this one! Shaw, a firefighter who oozes charm and sexiness, and Vanessa, a bowling alley owner with a retro style, have had feelings for one another since high school, but they've done a fairly good job of hiding that. Shaw is Vanessa's best friend Perri's brother and Perri has made it crystal clear to both of them that she doesn't want them dating. She feels that Shaw isn't good enough for her friend based on the fact that he enjoys women and he's never shown signs of wanting to settle down. But is the solution to that actually finding the right woman to settle down with? When Vanessa finds herself in a jam at the cabin she's preparing for Perri and Derek's honeymoon, she calls on Shaw to help her out. While they are working away at the cabin, mother nature decides to throw them a curve and dumps an enormous amount of snow on them, stranding them together. Will years of pent of feelings finally overflow or will these two continue to circle one another? With a great supporting cast that we've gotten to know in the other two books, you have the recipe for a great book. The matchmakers in town are in full force and as always when you pick up a Blakely book, it is full of entertainment and humor. I highly recommend picking this one up!
