This books is definitely 'all the math you'll ever need'. I am 43 years old and returning to college and have taken my placement test and my grade for the math section wasn't extremely bad but good enough for a person returning to school after all these years; anyway I say this to say that I decided to brush up on my math so as to not have to take remedial math and after using this book, it has totally brought me back to remembering 'all I needed to know' (about math that is) and now I feel confident enough to take the diagnostic test so that the professor will see that I can go straight into college level math and not remedial. THERE IS ONE ERROR THAT I HAVE FOUND, SO FAR, AND THAT IS ON PAGE 176 PROBLEM #3 IN THE ANSWER PART, THE ANSWER IS 18.18 AND NOT 17.18% AS THEY HAVE. OTHER THAN THAT, THIS BOOKS IS REALLY, REALLY, GOOD AND LIKE THE INTRODUCTION SAYS: 'DON'T BE ASHAMED TO CARRY THIS BOOK AROUND W/YOU BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL STOP YOU AND ASK WHERE DID I BUY THIS BOOK'. HOW TRUE, HOW TRUE. THANK YOU.
