Danny Kingston, a preacher's son and a well-liked honor student, has admired Serena Davidson, the popular, pretty, captain of the girls varsity volleyball team, since the first day of their freshman year in high school; but he could never summon the courage to speak to her, let alone ask her out. That is until their senior year, when Serena's grade in geography begins to plummet, threatening her position on the volleyball team. Her coach and geography teacher intervenes and asks Danny to tutor her. Gladly agreeing to help her out, Danny and Serena immediately hit it off. Inevitably, they fall in love and eventually get married. They endure many challenges and obstacles in their marriage, which serves to test their allegiance to Jesus and to each other. Always victorious, Danny and Serena feel that there isn't anything they can't overcome. Until one day, their allegiance to Jesus and their allegiance to each other are put to the ultimate test by a band of radical Muslim terrorists, who are out to rid the world of all Christians. Will Danny make the right decision? Or will he give in to the terrorists' demands and undermine everything he's ever stood for?

This book was awesome. I was so happy that there was a sequel to this book. It is a story that you feel like you are right there with the characters. Hard to believe this is the first book by this author!! Can hardly wait to read more from this author. Having it based in Missouri just made it all the more personal for me as I'm from Missouri.

The book Allegiance is well written with likeable characters and real life situations. The Love story does not just end with marriage but starts the beginning of a stronger love. The author incorporates a modern situation that tears at the heart strings and makes the reader wonder about being in the same circumstance. This is a feel good book that leaves you with a smile.

Let me start by saying; I could not put this book down. I absolutely loved this book. Allegiance was so well written that it is really hard to believe that this is only the third book from this author. It is very difficult to say what my favorite part is, because there were so many great parts. I laughed and cried a lot. Vicki managed to tug at my heart strings the most when Sarena gave her life over to God. Thank you for reminding me just how wonderful it was when I gave my life to God. I look forward to reading every book that Vicki can write. Please don¿t stop writing, you have a wonderful gift from God.

If you've ever had to make difficult decisions in life you'll definitely appreciate this book. I loved the way the author was able to evoke so many emotions from cover to cover. I appreciate her sense of humor but also the reverence she shows the Lord when writing about Him. I absolutely could not put this book down. I really don't want to give anything away, so I won't but I will say this book could definitely be made into a movie. That's how good it is. It is definitely Mrs. Williamson's best work as yet. Read it for yourself and I'm sure you'll agree.

As a high school student, I found that this book is almost identical to my life. The story really made me think about choices I was going to make and decided to think twice. Thank you for writing a book that applies to real life without all the physical aspects of what many of my friends are doing with thier boyfriends. I'm so glad that I don't have to be like that. I really needed the wonderful meaning of the story and your book came out at the perfect time. I'm so glad my mom bought the book for me after she read it. Now we each have a copy and I have read it at least 5 times and will continue to read it anytime I need inspiration.
