About the Author

Esther Luttrell was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, but attended schools across the country until she was forced to quit at thirteen and go to work. Despite the lack of formal education, she participated in a PhD grant at a major university as campus filmmaker and went on to write and sell screenplays during and after a career that included MGM. Her last feature film script was "Te Ata" (www.teatathemovie.com; 2017). Proclaimed to be "one of American's most promising poets" early in her career, she is the author of numerous published novels, a textbook on screenwriting and two books on life after death. She lives in the Midwest with way too many cats, and travels extensively as conference keynote speaker. Her series of children's books is written under her maiden name Esther Cox.
