About the Author

Kenneth Clark was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, but was raised in Kenora, Ontario. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1956 with a degree in journalism and worked as a journalist for various newspapers and the Canadian Press for 15 years. He joined the federal Department of Agriculture's communication division in the 1970s and retired from there. Close to the end of his journalism career, he was awarded a Southam Fellowship at Massey College in Toronto. He is married to Elaine Clark (Adams) and has four children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Throughout his adult life, he wrote poems which he shared at times with family and friends.

This book, Along the Way: Poems for family and friends, contains most of them.
