Fate's dark design brings them together ... in a mating neither is ready for.
Five years after witnessing her father's death, Keelyn has become what she never wanted to be: a were-hunter. Surprisingly good at the career she'd had thrust upon her that fateful day, she heads to the yearly gathering to pay her farm's rent with money earned from hunting werewolf hearts and pelts.
Bane and his wolf pack are also headed to the yearly gathering when Bane, the pack's Alpha, finally scents the female his wolf says is to be their forever mate. There's only one problem- she also scents of death and wet wolf hide.
When Bane follows Keelyn into the woods, neither are prepared for the passion, or the truths, they're each about to face.
Can they survive the revelations that lie ahead? Or has fate doomed them to an impossible love?

About the Author
USA Today Bestselling Author J.M. Klaire sucks at writing bad boys. She knows it. She embraces it. Instead she writes about shifters who kiss hard and love deep. Shifters who aren't alpha-holes, but who will lay down their lives for their woman, if needed. Wolf shifters. Bear shifters. Even lion and dragon shifters.
Her stories are hot, steamy, funny, mostly lighthearted M/F romances with an occasional M/F/M menage romance thrown in there.
J. M. Klaire also writes steamy, sexy cowboy menage romances as Jenny Klaire and still has some fast, hot, erotic short stories published as Jamie Klaire, which is how she got her start, so check out those author pages as well.

Most Helpful Customer Reviews
I really enjoyed the hilarity, complications and shifter love. But the inner monologue of the main characters was the clincher, as well as the spirit of the characters, that tied it together for me. A great plot with excellent turns and turnabouts, even with the ones you're sure will eventually happen. An interesting take on shifters, their love and loyalty, and how unlikely pairings can become one. There were some very short lulls, but overall, I found this a good read from start to finish. Some writers have a knack for keeping me engaged, and this series, I'm sure, will be one I'll continue with. I received this advanced copy as part of a collection of stories by various authors in exchange for a review. Happy reading!
