Don't even bother with this. I bought the ebook, which was 39 pages long. Half the terminology they use is offensive or incorrect, and it focuses almost exclusively on MTF people. All of the information shows a basic level understanding of transgender experiences and I'm pretty mad I wasted $3 on it. I thought it would be helpful but it wasn't at all. I could've (and have) found more accurate and helpful information with a quick google search.
As a transgender person knowledgable on the subject, I find this book to be very disappointing. It was often offensive and inaccurate. Nothing more than the basics are given. A million more in-depth and accurate resources can be found online for free. Please do not waste your time.
My mom is an RN at Mayo Clinic. RNs are not this big fancy thing. Now if it was MD than that would be a whole different matter.
Do not buy this book. Waste of digital paper.
This is a fantastic book for beginners and curious friends and family. It help put a finger on what the buzz is all about. Good reading for young adults.
