Terrific book! It is easy to follow the directions and recreate these hair styles in my own hair. The photos and step by step directions make it simple to follow along. The many styles include, are perfect for young and older women. No matter, the designs range from easy to a bit harder and elegant to simple casual. However, each is just beautiful and such a wonderful style for all!
4 STARS I wish I had this book twenty years ago. Even now I would like to give my girls this book and my brother who is raising a daughter. It starts out with real basics talking supplies and terms she uses. There are so many pictures and step by step instruction with pictures of real people getting the styles done. I love how easy it is explained. I wish I had the doll head I had as a girl to practice on right now. Because I would need lots of practice to make them look so good. Each hairstyle has tips to make them easier or to be a little different for you to try. I had never thought to try a seam ripper to break rubber bands out of hair. Or really what the difference between bobby pins and hair pins are. Becky explains what hair supplies are okay to use cheaper version and when to spend a little more expensive and why. I can see a fun idea to get this book and some of the hair supplies and put it together for a Christmas or birthday present I love the cascading curls hairstyle and some of the different braids would be fun to wear. You can have so much fun creating different hairstyles. I was given this ebook to read from Cedar Fort so I could give a honest review and be part of its Amazing Hairstyles blog tour.
