Days from any form of modern civilization, archeology Professor James Acton awakes to gunshots. Finding his wife missing, taken by a member of one of the uncontacted tribes, he and his friend INTERPOL Special Agent Hugh Reading try desperately to find her in the dark of the jungle, but quickly realize there is no hope without help.

And with help three days away, he knows the longer they wait, the farther away she'll be.

And the less hope there will be of ever finding the woman he loves.

Amazon Burning is the tenth installment of the James Acton Thrillers series in which the author of seventeen international bestsellers, J. Robert Kennedy, reunites James and his wife Laura Palmer with Hugh Reading, CIA Special Agent Dylan Kane, Delta Team-Bravo and others in a race against time to save one of their own, while behind the scenes a far darker, sinister force is at play, determined to keep its existence a secret from the world. The stakes are high, the action is full-throttle, and hearts will be broken as lives are changed forever in another James Acton adventure ripped from the headlines.

You w rote the best one. The A mazon Burning. Could not stop reading even till the morning . I found in it was a love story as well as adventure and your fascinating handle on the heroes was beautiful with their assistance from the bravo team.I did not want it to end but it ended beautifully because The natives were the real heroes.

Having traveled the Amazon years back I was really interested in reading this book and l was not disappointed as it was a great, fast moving story with the Acton duo in trouble as usual but with tears in my eyes for the demise of a very interesting native of the people's of the area. One of the best so far.

As per usual with Kennedy’s books,a good plot with the usual characters playing their usual roles. One would think that he would be running out of story lines but he still keeps milking it for all it’s worth.

I loved many of the characters coming together here, as well as the young jungle man and his struggle when modern world crashes into an untouched society of people. I laughed - I cheered and I cried. Ready to enjoy the next book.
