Not worth buying. The sample was as good as it got.

So difficult to put down. I don’t like to finish a Patterson book because there is a gap.

Another Patterson book I pre-ordered and waited patiently to devour. 2 books in one binder is another way of saying “could have been developed a little longer to make one really good story” but time is money”. Very disappointed as I love Patterson’s books but this is not the first time I feel as though I was duped. Will not pre order again

A lot of loose ends.

Good thing I’m well acquainted with the characters because they are bland in this latest installment of the Michael Bennett series. The plot is also pretty mild. Lately I have been disappointed in Mr. Patterson’s co-written books. I think I buy them in hopes that he might regain some of his past great plots and writing twists but I think these talents may be lost and his new partners can’t help.

As this series continues the reader becomes more invested in this wonderful family. Always waiting for the next installment. Plenty of tense action, well paced.

Another book Patterson takes credit for. He'll slap his name on anyone's writing as long as he gets top billing. What a jerk.
