This book analyzes and exposes how the Supreme Court has been rewriting the Constitution for over two hundred years beginning with the Marbury v. Madison case of 1803. The original Constitution made it clear that all three branches of government are equal in power, yet the Supreme Court has granted unto itself the power to declare certain acts of Congress unconstitutional. By doing so, they have assumed superiority over the other two branches of government. In this book, Dr. Nixon points out very logically using historical facts based on trial outcomes how wrong it is for the Judicial Branch of government to have that kind of dictatorial power over Congress and our everyday lives. He does an exceptional job of revealing how far beyond the limitations authorized by the Constitution nine politically appointed Justices have trespassed. I found this book by Dr. Nixon to be an entertaining read and excellent study about the purpose and meaning of the Constitution and its Amendments. I highly recommend this book to all thinking laymen and college students who want to develop a better understanding of the Constitution and its purpose, as well as the Founding Fathers who authored it.
