About the Author
After 35 years of living overseas, Birgitta returned to her hometown in Germany and continues working there as a nurse.
Dating back to her freshman year in College, she has had an affinity for writing. Her first poem 'Hand in hand' was published in Oklahoma State University's yearly publication 'Redbud Classic' in 1985. This and her second poem 'Silent screams' are both incorporated into her book.
AMIGIRL is her debut novel and was inspired by true experiences.
