This book builds on the first one in the series, so if you liked Amigurumi World, you'll probably like this book also. However, if you are looking for an advanced crochet book, you might want to look elsewhere. Virtually every pattern is endless single crochet. All toys are made in spirals instead of in rounds, which leads to jagged looking back seams and color changes. But, for beginners, this isn't as big a deal.

I loved Ana Paula Rimoli's first book, Amigurumi World, and when I saw that she was coming out with a second one I knew it had to have it. I love the patterns and the easy to follow directions. It has awesome pictures of all the finished projects. If you love to amigurumi or just want to do something different, this is a great book to have. There are many unique, modern designs that are fun to make and give. I would recommend this book to anyone.

This book is adorable and easy to follow, like its predecessor (Amigurumi World). As the title says, it is "for baby, too", so there is more focus on infant toys (rattles, mobiles, stroller toys, etc.) than figurine-style amigurumi. The toys would be great for baby shower gifts, and the author includes useful comments on using them as learning toys. My main reason for giving it four stars instead of five is that the patterns seem less diverse than the first book, and slightly redundant. Even so, it is worth buying, and I hope the author continues these enjoyable books!
