First, he steals her mind.
Then, he owns her body.
Dr. Jaxon Ray has bided his time. He's watched Amber St. George from afar, plotting and calculating the best way to get her back, until he realised that the answer was simple...
Steal her mind so he can own her body. Program her to forget then reprogram her as his perfect partner. The plan is foolproof, promising everything he's ever wanted once it's executed. Money. Prestige. Her.
Why? Because when you don't know that you're missing, it's not possible for you to be found. Especially when the only person you think you can trust, is the one who's left you with medically-induced amnesia.
Amnesia is the first instalment in this dark and delicious, psychological thriller duet by Kylie Hillman. If you're a fan of disturbing thrillers where nothing is as it seems, and unrelenting greed is the only constant, start The Centrifuge Duet today!

150 pages of over the top drama. So ridiculous I hated every character by the end. This book is a series so the soap opera antics extend to more books. A waste of words.
Amnesia by Kylie Hillman is disturbingly awesome! This was my first time reading a darker style romance and I loved everything about it. I felt the characters were very well developed in a short period of time. All of the characters for that matter, even the minor characters were introduced nicely and you get a good sense of the background for each of them. I automatically hated the character of Jax. He is so conniving and devious, I really wanted to smack him! The way he treats Amber is disgusting and the fact that he is causing her to lose her memories instead of helping her regain them is just terrible. You can just tell there is something mentally wrong with this guy, he is a complete psycho. My feelings for Amber are kind of complex. I feel for her and I want only the best for her, to get out of the situation she is in with Jax and to get back to her normal simple life. When learning of her past with him, the conclusion is, he is a legitimate stalker, and special brand of crazy. On the other hand I kind of wish deep down, that she would have explained everything to her fiance first so he would be aware of the situation and not blindsided. I will leave it at that so I don’t throw any spoilers out there. This type of story is not the normal kind of read for me, but I did enjoy it. There were romance scenes, and although I didn’t want them to be between the two main characters, they were still sexy. I think Kylie Hillman is a genius for creating this world where In the end evil wins, and the story line is so detailed and planned out. I know there will be a book 2 and I can’t wait to see what happens next. I give this book 5 stars! I would recommend only 18+ read this book due to the violence and psychological warfare.
Oh man. This book has left with me a hangover headache after reading it. Jaxon Ray is a neurosurgeon who has helped perfect his grandfather’s amnesia/dementia repair drug, only HIS drug steals memories rather than restoring them. And he only ones to steal one womans memories and replace them with made up ones. Amber is a thirty year old teacher. She was engaged to Xander. On the way to meet Xander, before going to see their wedding planner, she is hit by another car, requiring her to go to the hospital. Jaxon does surgery on her to help “minimize” her memory loss from her amnesia and is giving her daily injections of Centrifuge. The dosages become more frequent as she starts remembering things and he’s not happy about it. Jaxon is one depraved dude in my opinion. I think Amber did the right thing by playing things out the way she did and the going was good while it lasted. I can’t wait to read the second book to see how Jaxon and Amber’s story ends. I started reading this book and read it in one sitting! I just did not and would not put it down until I finished it! This book will have triggers in it for some men and women so it is NOT a book for all people. I’ve read two of Kylie’s other books but this one is on a whole other level with how demented/depraved the main male character is. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to readers who do not have triggers and to those same readers who can handle most generalized triggers. ***I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion***
