The items were fantastic and the pictures are amazing -- so beautiful. As a beginner, I did have some difficulty with the directions (wish there were a more illustrations in the step-by-step instructions -- typically there is only one), but I figured it out. I've only made the booties so far, and they stay on wonderfully (even with wiggly babies); however, the pattern only adjusted the length for the different sizes, leaving the width and depth out of proportion. As the mother of a baby and toddler, I don't have a lot of time to experiment, but I do want to try simply copying the pattern at maybe 90% and seeing if the fit is better. Overall, I really love the book.

If you like to sew you will love this book. It has some great practical baby items that will make great gifts for friends and family. It has some simple and some more complex items to sew.

Delightful range of patterns to make lots of children's things from booties to crib bumpers to kimono pajamas. Great photos and patterns are included.

This book is very well done but the addition of realistic pictures (step-by-step) would make all the difference. I've made the Everything Bag which is adorable (but really large, they should have shown the bag hanging on someone's shoulder.) The difficulty ratings are accurate. Overall, great presentation with lots of different patterns. Great value at just $17 for over 20 different patterns.
