I may be twenty-seven years old, yet every year going home for Christmas is something I eagerly look forward to. I can never wait to get back and see my dad, Heart, my stepmom and my younger brother and sisters, as well as the proxy cousins, uncles and aunts who I grew up with. The Satan's Devils MC has been my family for all of my life.
This year, though, I'm dreading it, knowing there are so many people who'll be disappointed in me if the truth comes out.
They'd know something was wrong if I didn't go home.
They'll know something's wrong as I fear I won't be able to hide it.
Xander's been my rock since the night my world imploded. For three months he's barely left my side, and he's promised he won't stop now. Maybe with him I can pretend everything is fine.
One thing for certain, I mustn't let my MC family into my secret. If they knew what had happened, they'd blame me for certain. Worse, they'd want to take matters into their own hands.
I can do this. I can join in the celebrations and pretend that there's nothing wrong. Can't I?
About the Author
Manda Mellett writes romance, but not your typical everyday boy meets girl stuff. Using her research and psychology background she takes flawed, real life characters and puts them into situations full of suspense where their characters gradually emerge. Expect to find nail-biting moments and be brought to tears and laughter as you turn the pages of her full-length books.
While she writes series, each book can be picked up and read as a standalone, or the books read out of order.
Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of North Essex in the UK with her husband of thirty years and two lively Irish Setters. Needless to say she enjoys walking, but time at home is normally spent reading or writing. Manda previously enjoy riding and had her own horse, and enjoyed time in a different saddle when she owned her own motorbike. Manda’s son lives away from home now, but her remains her best supporter.

Who says you can never go home again? Amy left the Satan's Devils compound a long time ago, giving up on winning the man who stole her heart. Now she is back to celebrate Christmas, scared to death that she can't keep up the charade that she is fine. Luckily her friend Xander came along to help her through. Wizard, formerly Drew, is now the President of the Satan's Devils. When he lays eyes on Amy again with a man in tow, he has to face some hard truths. Can a Christmas miracle bring these two together? I gotta say, I was straight up scared that it was too late for these two. Amy's heart was broken by Drew's actions, who couldn't relate to that feeling. Yet, I understood his side too, he was in a rough spot with their age difference at the time. Everything happens in its own time and it feels like fate that Amy came home for Christmas. I'm so glad that this was basically a full book, not a novella as planned. I needed all that time with Drew and Amy, to see them get the happy ever after that they deserve! 10 stars for Manda Mellett and Amy's Santa!
