I loved both series. All the men of honor stories. I was sad to see them end.

Truly a fanfreakintastic story. Tears of joy, tears of sorrow and tears of heartbreak. So happy to see little Ruthie who isn't quite so little, and now we have Mia. Also added to the kids are the little students. I love how K C introduces other characters along with the main ones and how she brings back characters. Having Mia and Ruthie included in Christopher's story made you feel so much more compassionate for him for what he was going through when he was deployed and with what happened to Billy. When he remembered that tragedy it was also remembering Mia and Ruthie and what they meant to him that helped him to cope. But it was Alissa's love that made all the difference in the world. I love how they never let anyone or anything come between them. Even though her mother was totally against Christopher from the beginning Alissa did not let the deter her from her true feelings. She fought for him against her own family. She saw the good that he had inside him from the first time they met. Her love for him did not die when he left her to join the military and it was just as strong when he came back. Even though he did not ask her to wait deep down in her heart she did. They had a bond that time or no one could break.

This book tore my heart out, in the best way. K.C.'s writing is genuine and makes me feel like part of the story. This is a must read.

I didn't think any book that could top Resisting Temptation but oh how wrong I was. Act of Courage is one of the best books I've ever read. KC brings you into the story like no other. I wish I had the words to explain the journey she takes you on when you read this book. She deserves all the praise she can get. Christopher makes you want to fight for him when he can't fight for himself. You want to wrap him in bubble wrap and show him what all he has to offer. Alissa is a angel with a strength that rivals superheroes for Christopher. This love journey will make you laugh, cry, be angry and melt. It shows every emotion in the soul.
