The book takes a pictorial guide through the various components and functionality of the operating system and provides the user with a comprehensive overview of the different options available in configuring and maintaining the server. Readers with a very basic understanding of networking may find some of the concepts challenging, but not overwhelming. Ideally, the reader should have a decent understanding of computer operations, and be able to perform standard computer tasks without much reference to manuals. This is a very basic user guide with little value. I am computer literate, however, have no server admin experience. This book (all 77 pages of it) goes through the setup process in a very remedial way and does not explain that process. For example, it gives screen shots of the install page and states to click install. Really? The only reason i kept reading was thinking that the next chapter might be more detailed. Well, it wasn't. I did not get anything out of reading this.
