About the Author
For Debi Staples, reading – and writing – was always one of her greatest passions. She began her writing career by volunteering to edit on a writing website for teen writers on AOL while she took care of her two young children as a stay-at-home mom. Eventually, that grew into the creation of SynergEbooks, an online ePublishing company that she still runs out of her own home today. Three of the first titles she published won awards in that year’s EPPIEs. In her first book, An Editor’s Pet Peeves, she returns to helping writers improve their work by giving them a head’s up on how to fix some of the most frequent mistakes writers make to give them a better chance of becoming published.
