Nothing makes me happier than a romance heroine who speaks her mind, sticks to her guns and still gets her man. The pride of Spring City, Colorado, Charlotte is refreshingly honest and extremely intelligent, two qualities that endear her to Reed Malloy, precisely because those qualities are so sorely lacking in the society debutants he's surrounded by in his native Boston. With Charlotte, Reed soon learns, what you see is what you get. And he likes what he sees very much. But just as romance begins to blossom in Colorado, Reed's Boston life intrudes upon them in the person of his law partner and a woman claiming to be his fiancee, tearing the young lovers apart -- until circumstances force Charlotte to go to Boston. This change of scene heralds a major shift in the story and introduces intriguing characters and exciting plot twists that kept me turning pages and losing sleep into the wee hours of the morning. I receive a free digital copy of the book in exchange for a fair and honest review, and I can honestly say, I am glad I accepted the challenge. I highly recommend 'An Improper Situation' and I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

Fantastic! Riveting!   Sydney Jane Baily's writing is full of historical details, raw human emotions, and a romantic story line that keeps your interest .  I do not  suggest this book for someone if you are just looking for a sickly sweet, airhead, romance book.  This is a novel and full of  content  that  will  touch your soul!  Can't wait for the next one!

This was a hard book to put down. Charlotte is a lonely writer who thought she knew what she wanted in life. In comes Reed, hand in hand with her cousin's children, telling her that she is to raise the children. Her life changes dramatically as her heart gets involved. From Colorado to Massachusetts, she learns new things about herself and the big wide world. Her honesty and innocence get her into trouble, but her inner strength helps her keep hope for the outcome she wants and desires. I received this ebook from eBook Discovery for an honest review.
